Pliskin Posted 8 August Posted 8 August Trying to get even a little bit excited for this season, but I genuinely can’t….. doesn’t help when my Cov scum mate keeps sending me stuff about them….. in my mind we’ve got a job to do, this season ain’t about entertainment, it’s about winning this league at a canter, and getting back up….. it’s a necessity for the future of this club more than anything. 4

I never said he should be in the team. I was just interested as to why some hate him so much.

No excuses for scrappy 1-0 sitting back and passing around because Mavadidi can’t be bothered to run or pass to the overlap or Skipp stinking out any chance he gets with a back pass so we have to start again.

I think a big part of it is the fact that he's very average (at best) and is one of the players who's been in the squad through the whole decline. The whole drink drive thing was pretty much the nail in the coffin for everyone I think. He's probably a nice enough bloke, seemed alright whenever I've met him, and i know of a couple of people who's kids have had things from him post game etc etc, but yeah, I think the drink drive sealed his fate. Will he do a decent job in league 1, probably. 1

I think we will trash quite a few teams this season once we get settled on our best team. I think the new CF will do really well and Mavididi will have serious competition for his place now. So he's going to have to step up and become a team player. Our Fitness, Pace and Football will crush teams this season. 1

Claudio Fannieri Posted 8 August Posted 8 August 7 of the younger group of academy included in the squad, plus Watson also on the bench with McFarlane, Chaplin and Bristic still to come in, hopefully will mean the likes of Mavididi, BDCR and Thomas fall by the wayside. Good news that Faes is not involved so hopefully not far away from being moved on.
Nick Posted 8 August Posted 8 August I feel sick and disappointed and weirdly embarrassed at the state of our club and for the first time I’m struggling massively to find interest for the coming games. I can’t bear the thought of losing today against Northampton. It’s a must win game today if for nothing else but to help find my lost LCFC mojo and stop me going further down the wormhole.
