Close to a sell out this.

Correct. Couple of hundred left.

Up this end, they've been advertising this match on big screed advertisement boards, dotted around, for the last few weeks.

Got my ticket.

It's a good effort from them tbf, especially at the start of the school holidays, and cost of living etc. Should be lively!

Btw if you collect programmes, notts county dont produce them anymore. Not even an online one.

That makes it a prime collectable then.

Fvcking huge game for them isn't it, like basically every team in this dogshit league. Was going to say how did we end up like this but everyone with half a brain knows.

Pretty sure a program is mandatory from like step 6 non league upwards?

I don't fancy our chances against any hard working, in your face type of opponent. Which is what Notts C will be.

I actually think those opponents we'll be OK against in open play as Martin is all about pressing, but we will likely be vulnerable from set pieces and crosses and thr low block terrifies me. You can just see where we will come undone time and time again but the level of finishing in the lower leagues will mean we often get away with it.

Rules changed couple seasons, it was made optional.

This, we thought it was bad under Enzo in the Championship, we ain't seen nothing yet! How Northampton didn't score in what was basically an open goal at the weekend was hillarious.

I've had real life conversations with people that think we're going to get relegated from League 1 because Russell Martin played possession football. Actual people that think this style of play will mean we'll finish in the bottom four in a league containing the likes of Bromley, AFC Wimbledon, Cambridge United, Leyton Orient, Notts County, Peterborough etc.

This should be a similar season to the Enzo one where it's so easy it becomes boring. Especially if this Bristric lad does well.

2-2 Jodi Jones with a couple of gifts. Faes comes on and scores an equaliser in the 92nd minute from a corner and runs to the Leicester fans cupping his ears.

Martin says we controlled the game but the players weren't quite aggressive enough. But we did have 82% possession so not a bad day at the office. :brendan:

I'm not sure I'd go that far tbh but the standard really is crap.

I am not confident we'll win this one, but I am confident we'll win the league.

For me, we are acquiring a decent squad for League 1, however some are either out injured, or having been injured, won't have played together as a team. There's absolutely no way Souttar and Okoli were the intended CB pairing, and then we have been without the likes of Chaplin etc.

Once we get an established 11 (and a striker) I am confident we'll win the league.

That said, it won't be pretty. RM's football may be successful at this level, but it won't be nice to watch. I still stand by my Opion that Enzo's football was amongst the least enjoyable football i have ever watched...and he won the league with it.

Not really convinced by us at the moment - I think the squad needs improvement in quite a few areas. I'm going for a draw but hopefully I'm wrong

Jodi won’t be playing, hasn’t featured all pre season. Rumours he wants improved deal which we aren’t offering. No idea if he stays or goes but no where near fit.
