I believe Kante was the fourth choice option for CM in 2015 behind Charles Aranguiz, Jordan Veretout & Papy Mendy- who we of course signed a year later. All of whom rejected us.

There was a rumour that we were looking to sell Iheanacho to buy Édouard in 2020.

 

We ended up keeping Iheanacho and he scored 14 PL goals and carried us to an FA cup final which we won.
