Actually best of both for some, we have loads of the ball, but will have to be physical and switched on when defending. Prem clubs will see that more beneficial and as we’ve said loaning our players out we want them to have good experience and not be battling relegation etc.

It does beg the question what was happening on the training ground that players leave us and can command places in higher tier teams when they were absolutely dire for us. Typical example is Tielemans who is now plying his trade at Old Trafford. I was also impressed with the performance of Luke Ayling who absolutely bossed the back line, sometimes playing the ball across the field, sometimes pinging it to the left or short to the right or into the midfield. Then I saw the antics of our World Cup star with Okoli passing the ball back and forth to each other like a hot potato because neither wanted to take any responsibility and do something with it. The contrast could not be starker.
