I actually am for the first time time in two seasons,  just nice to see some fresh faces starting rather than the awful players that sucked this club dry

I was up until the turgid watch of the Northampton game. I think most teams will set up like that against us so we have to find a way to beat that deep block.

But I'm more optimistic than other recent seasons.

Following the actual kick-off, I predict the first moan on Foxestalk at 12.32 pm.  First reference to RM out at 14.02 pm.

First moan at 12:32?!?

I can promise you now, I will moan at least one hour before that when we see the announced line up.

I did say after kick-off.  For sure the disgruntlement will manifest as soon as we see the line-up and subs.

I think there are reasons to be positive, we've done good business so far, we've got rid of about 80% of the dross, new team will have a good injection from the academy, king power have finally decided to sell.

After back to back relegations its difficult to think anything other than negatively, but I do think there are some positive things we can hang on to.

I am, but think much will depend on where we are squad wise at the end of the transfer window. I do think it could take a dozen or so games before we start to really play well with a settled team.

I think it’s important to remember that what we’re seeing now is really just the first step in rebuilding the squad. The team we see today, and probably for much of this season, won’t be the finished product, and there’s still plenty of work to do.

There are still several players who need to move on, while we also need to see whether the younger players can step up and develop as we hope. There are questions around some of the incoming players too, which will only be answered once we see them play regularly.

It’s going to take time, and I think we need to judge the rebuild over a longer period rather than expecting everything to click immediately.

A part of me is, not sure if I have the love for football anymore though.

Sort of where I am. Just not really arsed anymore which I never thought I'd say. It's not just a Leicester thing either although us being utterly atrocious doesn't help

Seeing all our academy players  showing what they can do in pre season, certainly made me feel positive. Now, seeing the same tired players like Okoli, Skipp, Mavididi, Bobby, not so much.

Probably more excited than usual but seeing Marti go around the pitch clapping the fans and seeing our team sheet for the first game last season, I thought we’d have been top six minimum even with a points deduction.

So let’s see what happens 🤣

I'm not but I did say last season that I don't wanna be able to recognise the names of the majority of the players and we're pretty close to that

Can't be watching that curly haired twat for another season though
