I'm not sticking my neck out for this manager. I'm just reacting to posts blaming this manager for us not putting the ball in the net today. Do you expect him to run on the pitch and do it himself? Is it his fault that Reid missed the one on one? Is it his fault that Cullen didn't shoot? Is it his fault that Braybrooke hit the post? Is it his fault that Joseph hit the bar? If these chances go in and we win 4-0 then the reaction would be wholly different and you know it..

I understand the context of where we’re at, but I don’t want positive signs. I want good performances and 3 points. 2 points from Notts county burton and MK dons is a piss take.

Also Alves is miles better than Greedy Watson. We created more chances due to Alves passing the ball rather than Watson shooting.

Great signs? Weve just drawn with Mk Dons in league 1

Alot of positives. Badly missing a goal scorer. BDCR with a criminal miss which would have set the match up for us. Get Vardy back. He would have had a field day. Youngsters doing us proud.

You are sticking your neck out for him, you’re defending him despite the fact everyone hates him.

 

He’s responsible for both results and the entertainment value. He’s going to fail at both, don’t do this to yourself.

Decent performance, failed by the club not getting a decent number 9 through the door. Thats not a dig at Bristic, hes positive but he cant be expected to come in and get 20 goals for us.

 

 

Feel like once the goals do come this attack will really click.

This is not incorrect 

 

chances/openings in the final third of the game increase as the opposition tire. 
 

Just need a bit of luck although I’m not seeing that our players are any better the average L1 player at putting a chance away

I'm not influenced by the opinion of others, I have the capacity to form my own. 

 

Do I find us boring to watch? Yes, I have done for years now. Did we deserve to win the game today on the balance of play, chances created etc? Yes. Was the fact that the chances weren't taken today anything to do with the style of play we have under the current manager (who I don't even like btw)? No. That's literally it. 😂

This team is league 1 standard probably at the higher end not sure what many are expecting tbh.

 

The postives is we have players like Page, Braybrook, Alves, Joesph along with others like Howell and Bristic that should improve.

Spot on! A half decent striker is reading that and grabbing himself a simple nod in. Instead he stood and watched, he may as well have been standing watching the game with the fans behind the goal. Bristric is not the striker who is going to push us up the league this season. Get a goal scorer in by Tuesday, we will have to make do at the back and most League 1 teams will just park the bus anyway.

Decent performance but slipping further down the table.

That was a Leicester City performance to get behind. Loads of young lads, both our own and borrowed playing for the shirt... At last. 

 

I get the negative stuff but we are where we are and if we keep being negative about it won't get better. 

 

Another day we score a couple. These players just need one to get them started. 

 

Hopefully, we sell a couple of the missing bunch and can get a few more in. 

 

Feeling much better about us than I was last week and the week before.
