For all the grief he gets, whoever sanctioned the deal, scouted him (if we actually bothered) & selected him on match days, should get more grief than he has ever had.

A ridiculous signing.

As bad as he was, surely that has to go to Ayew?

Not when you factor the fee. As dreadful as Ayew was, he only cost £4m

We’ve seen some bad centre mids over the year but he is certainly up there, can’t actually believe how ineffective he is. There’s literally nothing he excels at.

I disagree he excels at being crap

Up there with one of the worst signings ever, daft enough to pay 25m too.

Spurs really had our pants down with him and Winks, then got Maddison for a discount of 10-15m aswell. Terrible business.

I hear ya!

I just have this huge pathological hatred of Ayew who, to me was THE WORST player ever in a lot more areas than just his ability.

I'm still mentally scarred by him. :S

If I ordered a skip and skipp turned up I would be straight on the phone to complain , then when it finally did turn up I would chuck skipp straight in it and demand compensation

I would quite literally rather play a skip in centre mid

I don't think Ov ever stood a chance here this season with Russy in charge. With a more old school manager he would have thrived. Anyway, all the best to him. I will now be following Charlton's results with an even keener interest.

Didn’t Cooper sign him? I can’t even remember
