Really wish we try and attack their goal when the break is on. Really frustrating that when we can create a goalscoring opportunity in 2 passes we choose to stand still and pass it back to a defender like we're already winning by 3 goals.

It's frustrating isn't it. The default setting the team has is to always just "reset" the play. It makes no sense either as the whole point of the style is to try and create those kind of openings with the ball, so why not exploit it on turnovers.

Even at the end there, we had a few opportunities to get it forward for a last attack of the half. Instead we settled with Souttar, McCarthy etc passing it between themselves for 90 seconds.

Cullen hardly got a mention after his goal, which was, admittedly, a well taken one.

I think Lundstram is a positive addition so far, Page is levels above.

We are still playing that to-me, to-you rubbish at the back and it's really risky.

There’s a reason for that!

For what? He didn't touch it.

McCarthy got his hand to the second shot and touched it onto the cross bar. He also saved the 3rd long shot that that came in from further out.

We’ve not really used the right hand side so far; JJ hasn’t seen much of the ball either.

Did anyone see that extraordinary attempt at an overlap early on first half?

He's so docile. Took him an age to realise the overlap was the right play, then came 'steaming' past Alves with all the pace of BBC's security correspondent Frank Gardener getting off a plane

Overall a much improved showing so far. However, Souttar still awful passing, Thomas still awful defending, and Cullen anonymous other than the goal. Debutants have been ok to good. Alves having a tough time against his opponent.

Looking like a wise decision turning down offers for Page. Nailed on that the offers will be higher in January and end of the season.

Surprisingly direct for both goals in between periods of tippy tappy at the back bollocks. The more direct we are the more of a threat we are. Hopefully the first signs of life in the brains of a few of those at the club. 🙏
