Ding dong game.

 

A win's a win, but we were fairly unconvincing and did our best to chuck the points away.

 

Good stuff from Lundstram (who ran out of gas second half) and how nice to actually have a atriker in Riis.

 

Souttar, Thomas and McCarthy were our wek links and I'm not sure what the thinking was making Alves defend so much.

 

Still, the relegation threat recedes a little.  :scarf:

I don't want to hear it was "hard thought" or "we would've lost that a year ago". The fact is we should've lost that, county were all over us and had big chances and 2 disallowed goals, was another embarrassing performance, Martin will not work.

Great win against a good side but still some huge issues with this side. Defensively we are appalling and its easy to see why we've conceded 7 in 2. We cant expect to score 4 every game so we are going to have to sort out our defensive frailties from crosses and set pieces and our play in transition. We have and will continue to give the ball away with Martins system and thats fine if we improve our transition play. Currently teams find it too easy to play through us when we lose possession and we dont lay a glove on them. If Martin doesn't address these issues soon, we will lose more than we win.

It's crazy how weak he is defensively. Glaring mistake(s) almost every week. 

 

Martin is lucky he has talent like Page to work with. 

How the f... have numeorus managers put Thomas into the side. He has NEVER been any good and still he plays every week. Baffling
