How many players do we need? Already cant get some of the signings in the match day squad. he's crap as well.

who knows if we'll see his peak or not but there's a better chance of that happening at 26 than 29...

He's clearly going to be a symptom of the fact he's ex-Saints so will be shot down before he's kicked a ball.

Two big ifs... if the salary isnt ridiculous and if he can stay fit, then this is a very good signing for league one. 

 

Just dont want to be paying 10k a week plus for someone who will be using up medical resources at even more of a cost. 

 

Playing wise, he'd be right up there amongst the best in the division once he gets his fitness up and some playing time. 

 

Hoping it doesn't mean taking away some playing time from the youth though

Not commenting on Smallbones ability at all but purely depth wise this does make sense. 4 options for 2 defensive midfield spots, 3/4 options for the ten with a couple of those being able to play in attack. We think this is bloated because we haven’t had actual depth in a significant amount of time, we should have multiple players able to start in each position

Think you've missed my point regarding being bloated. I was relating this to the fact we're limited on bench spots in L1 with many players not being able to get a sniff in a matchday squad already. I wouldn't be signing any more players personally.
