I think we'll stay up without a deduction because I think you can just about cobble together an 11 that gives a shit from this squad, that they will have a different manager at some point in 2026 and that even Top and Rudkin won't be able to find a way to downgrade the manager again.

I agree my only worry is I felt a similar way about last season, we have more than enough but you can argue on paper we did last season

Fvck it, probably get sectioned as a result...but ive gone for play offs / promotion.

I despise RM, and 90% of the squad,  but this league is absolutely dross. If we do get the right person in before its too late, it won't take much to climb the league.

Actually think it's very possible now. Looks like, astonishingly, Martin won't be sacked today. So they're going to let this slide on.

It all feels very familiar doesn't it. We're still in that doom spiral. We routinely lose at home to the worst teams in any league we're in.

You would think individual quality would bail us out, but then again, I'm not really seeing many James / Fatawu type moments where we can genuinely offer nothing but then score a 25 yarder. That isn't happening this time. We're also even worse defensively than I can remember. Every single centre half looks a shambles. Non-league level players like Thomas are still somehow inflicted on our team. Our goalkeeper is rubbish.

It can definitely happen.

The issue is that we are in complete disarray.

We are in poor form and have too many players, when we do sack Martin the new manager is going to have a nightmare finding a working XI.

Inevitably they will default to the experienced players for results and when they inevitably let them down it will be towards the end of the season before the likes of Burns, Lundstram, Cordova Reid, Chaplin, Cullen, Souttar, O hara, Okoli, Thomas are finally sidelined.

Once that it is done we might be able to salvage some form but it will likely be too late.

That's a big if, and very unlikely to happen imo.

We are on track for 51 points which is just about being above the relegation zone but only just, if we persist with Martin we will definitely be in a relegation battle, so the sooner he is sacked the better..

As of now, with no sign of Martin going or the sale of the club, I have gone for relegated on merit. There are 4 relegation spots for a start and we are being outplayed by every team we face. Even the wins we have had weren’t convincing in the same way other teams wins over us have been.

The club is in a death spiral so relegation is a likely and realistic outcome.

If they keep Russell Martin we will continue to struggle… this division is so poor we might just stay up but I don’t fancy our chances if it’s tight towards the back end of the season … we are perennial bottlers… get rid now get a manager in to shake it up and we could be play off contenders… but I fear this lot will keep Martin until it’s too late

100% relegated if Russell Martin remains until the end. 100% if McCarron and Rudkin choose his replacement on the basis of their beloved antiquated dinosaur style of football. Need a very experienced firefighter now in the Dyche mould.
