Great effort - declare at lunch if we've not lost the last wicket to get started on Kent's first innings? With the weather forecast, not sure if it's worth giving up the time to get fifty or so more (but Scriven should have got his ton by then if he's going to).

I did say "if". But I feel bad that I may have jinxed poor Tom with my overly optimistic tone.

Need Holland to get Compton early because they don’t have much else experience wise

Thought Denly still played for them but it’s a different one.

What a shame. Hasn’t featured much and maybe this is why. But we’ll always have the one day cup final knock to remember.

Great day out at Trent Bridge and no footie clash as had hammered Soton 4-1 at their gaff the night before it was GREAT knock

Kent are making a very solid start. But I can't remember the last time I watched the Foxes with such a sense of serenity. It feels very strange.

Harry Swindells has retired due to a finger injury 😳

I love the last bit of the article

Swindells says it has "been a tough period" but insists "I've achieved my dreams".

"I've been immensely proud to represent the club I've loved since I was five years old over the past eight seasons," he told the club website., external

"I want to thank the Foxes fans for their unwavering support across my career. I've always felt their love, and hearing them sing 'Harry Swindells, he's one of our own' was always an amazing feeling. Their passion that day at Trent Bridge was truly unforgettable, a shared memory I will treasure forever."

Anyone who was there that day will remember his innings, the incredible finish and the fantastic atmosphere.   What a day that was!

I'm pretty certain my lad got fully into Cricket after that day, twas brilliant.

We sat next to Josh Hull's mum & family at the game, though she then moved to the "popular" stand for the Craic & atmosphere.

He's followed county all summer (lives in London) every time he comes home You Tube is on with some Vitality Blast game and he's off to Oz in the winter.

Just got to keep chipping away here. Plenty of runs on the board.

Glamorgan's form is beginning to look ominous.

They’ve not got a lot left after these two so we just have to be patient. Does anyone watching the stream know if Stewart likely to bat?
