Watching the live stream. First observation is that the Somerset crowd is both substantial in number, and generous with its praise. Kimber has just gone for an excellent 85, with some fearsome boundary hitting. I was feeling confident when I started typing this post, now I'm nervous again…..

Somerset commentary team easy to listen to, no bias and very complimentary.

Yeah i thought they were great. Lovely chase from us with 5 overs to spare. Let’s hope for a win on Thursday and results to go our way.

Kimber is so good to watch in full flow. Great to see we didn't get fazed after letting it slip in the field.

Agree. Along with Patel, Swindells, Hill and Harris (assuming he returns) we have the makings of a decent top 6.

Need to improve our bowling massively, though.

Poor old George Rhodes is a bit of a Josh Low signing really. Bizarrely the fewer runs he gets the higher up the order he goes. Scott Steel must really have blotted his copybook

Just not good enough. Simple fact.

Bowling and Fielding are OK but it's not enough.

It would be amazing to get a home QF on Saturday, can all the other results go our way though? That mess up against Warwickshire could  really cost us.

Really can't see Derby beating Surrey

Overwhelming success after three weeks compared to a competition still pulling in huge attendance figures nearly 20 years after it's inception?

Calm down, Harry.

Tbf, the unbelievable defeat to Warwickshire was offset by the miraculous win against Surrey. I think we need to finish third to get through to the quarters. That means we need two of Surrey, Yorkshire and Somerset to lose, as well as winning ourselves.

Calm down, Harry.

Two of the Quarter Finals already sold out for this years blast

Failure to qualify tomorrow means no first class cricket for Leicestershire for the remaining three weeks of the summer holidays. The next game would be Bank Holiday weekend as they end.

Utter shambles of a fixture schedule by the ECB. If the 100 and/or test series on TV makes someone want to watch live cricket, they literally can’t at a number of county grounds

The one man and his dog that watch county cricket must've contacted a few mates recently.

So any win should get us through. Top two at home I pressume. Third or fourth most likely?

Would like to see Scott Steel & Roman Walker in for George Rhodes & Gavin Grifftiths today, guess it would be pitch dependent.

Hopefully keep Tom Taylor quiet today too, shame we lost him to the steelbacks.

Scott Steel not in the squad.

Big day ahead, some excitement to look forward to!

Only the top 3 in the group qualify for the knockout stage. See the following excerpt from the ECB website:

The format for the knockout stages are:

Quarter-finals – 14 August (hosted by second-placed counties)

Group A Second-placed county v Group B Third-placed county

Group B Second-placed county v Group A Third-placed county

Semi-finals – 17 August (hosted by group winners)

Group A winner v Quarter-final winner

Group B winner v Quarter-final winner

The winners of the semi-final progress to the Royal London Cup final at Trent Bridge on 19 August.
