The U.S. military launched a clandestine program amid the COVID crisis to discredit China’s Sinovac inoculation – payback for Beijing’s efforts to blame Washington for the pandemic. One target: the Filipino public. Health experts say the gambit was indefensible and put innocent lives at risk.

Yep.

But then it's the "good guys" striking a blow against the "Evil Empire" and so it's acceptable...

.... right?

Agreed, it's only the middle of June and we already need the air con on at night, we don't usually need it until next month. 33 here today, 40 when we got in the car, summer has definitely arrived early this year

I've been working in the shed today and had a coat and scalf on earlier. :S

We were away with friends last week and attempted a BBQ on Tuesday evening. We sat in hoodies and scarves. I even considered gloves as we had them in the car from our winter walks.

My hotel room gets so warm in the afternoon sun I've been typing in the nude.

Live with that mental image if you can.

To quote you from another thread...

"Imagine them all nak…

No. No, that’s a very stupid idea.

Imagine yourself naked. I do that all the time - and I’ve never ever met you".

I think you have "issues"?  lol

I'm no fan of heatwaves but we could certainly do with some more sunshine to bring the temperatures up to seasonal averages

Mrs Para has an allotment and it's been almost impossible to get young plants into the ground without them suffering from the excessive wet and cold conditions.

I don't know how farmers must be coping.

By and large, they're not, if news reports are anything to go by.

Things are changing.

It is surprising how quickly you can go off fellow foxestalkers, that you normally hold in high regard, in two simple sentences...As I'll be in the Mediterranean tomorrow, I'm not blocking you 😉

When my news apps send me push notifications about pointless royal family-related tripe. Had 3 in the last hour telling me that Prince William loves his kids.

I literally could not give a flying **** about the royal family. The fact they do normal things like celebrate fathers day doesn't make them special or even vaguely relatable.

**** off. Unless one of them dies, I don't need to know, thanks

How can you be this angry about an app that you’ve actively downloaded, and notifications you can actively disable lol

I don't want to disable notifications as I want to be kept informed of the news, and you can't specifically filter out royal-related news. Prince William being a father on father's day isn't news IMHO. Simple, really

Border Force, or whoever the fvck they are at immigration, can go suck a dick so massive it splits their heads into several pieces. I’m so fvcking sick of being pissed about by them every journey out of and back into the country.

“Don’t swear at our staff » the message kinda says. Piss off. If you don’t want me swearing loudly as I attempt to exit Heathrow, how about stop treating me like a fvcking terrorist suspect every single journey. Every. Single. Journey.

Extra bag checks, extra frisking, always being called to a side for a detailed interview, passport never working on the scanner and being called over for a chat. Its fvcking insane.

I don’t get any of this abroad, I get treated like a normal person. But put me through security in the UK or passport control coming back - FML.

I am thinking if you hadn't sworn the first time they wouldn't have put you on the lets wind this guy up naughty list.

Seriously though I would be putting in an FOI request to find out what is going on.

I didn’t swear the first time. I’ve sworn more over time. It’s been going on since 2008 and just getting worse every time.
