Webbo Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 i think possibly frankie boyle, though i saw a lad called keith farnan on Michael McIntyre's comedy roadshow a couple of weeks back and he was quite good. I've only seen his video but he had me crying with laughter. Big fan of Billy Conolly as well. I've been to the Highlight once and planning on going again. Great night out.
Uncle Phil Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Sean lock. Going to see him in a few weeks, should be a great night.

lildave3 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Having just bought tickets to go and see Ross Noble next month thought i'd ask the question, Whos peoples favourite stand up Mine are Ross Noble, Bill Bailey & Jason Byrne. Before Thursday, Ross Noble was one of my favourites, maybe my favourtite. After seeing him though, he's just a clear favourite! Absolutely love the guy. Not many people can go on stage and do 3 hours with little to no material. If I went to see him tomorrow it'd be a completely different show and that's what is so amazing about him. Love him. Like a lot of comedians though, definitely want to start going to see more people. Only ever seen Tim Vine (another I love) and Russell Howard before that.
Jimothy Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Been to see Rhod Gilbert, Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntyre, Jon Richardson and going to see John Bishop next month. Think they're all brilliant. Would love to see Dara O'Brian, Lee Evans, Sean Lock and Jason Manford as well.
Finchy Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Stewart Lee, saw him a couple of weeks ago. This.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Sean Lock, Rich Hall, David Cross, Lee Mack, Stewart Francis, Daniel Sloss, Frank Skinner (under rated beyond belief)
MPH Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Tim Vine-so crap its funny . ive managed half of that so far! Tim Vine was excellent at the Y theatre a couple of years ago.... for the reasons you just mentioned.. the Year before i saw Milton Jones.. similar sort of style and equally as funny...
ACF Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Peter Kay, Chris Rock, and Ross Noble is the winner.
stix Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Seen Michael Mcintyre and Jason Manford last year. Going to see Russell Howard in february and Manford again in july i think. Oh and went to see Billy Connelly aswell, probably around 13 years ago now! Shit im getting old!
rico Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Used to love Peter Kay,but not sure if he'll ever be as good as he was a few years back Steve Coogan does a good stand up set and a few years ago i saw Rik Mayall at his peak and he was excellent,he even dropped out a bit of Kevin Turvey for any you old enough to rememner him
BrummieFOX Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Been to see Rhod Gilbert, Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntyre, Jon Richardson and going to see John Bishop next month. Think they're all brilliant. Would love to see Dara O'Brian, Lee Evans, Sean Lock and Jason Manford as well. Would it be cheaper to try and get a ticket for '8 out of 10 Cats?
