I am drunk and can't be arsed to trawl through all the negative shit posted by the ****ing morons that seem to post on here these days so I want to start a thread to say thanks to Sven and his team for putting some pride back into Leicester after the shocking start we had this season.

A few would suggest he has not done well enough (some even suggesting there are better alternatives than him in the championship -Idiots). When he came we were on our knees and to get so close to achieving a play off spot with the shit he had to work with is in my opinion a fantastic effort.

I can not wait for next season with Sven in charge as I believe we will storm this league with him in charge and a full pre season to get players in. I think we are in for good times and his record speaks for itself.

We lost badly today fair enough but at least we went down trying to attack after losing 2 shit goals. I for one think the future is as bright as it has been for years. :chant:

He's certainly the highest profile manager we've ever had, easily the best calibre, and I think it's been a great effort. I fancy us to be a more than decent side next season with him at the helm, and I feel comfortable with him managing us.

HOWEVER

Some of Sven's decision making has left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Lots of work to be done in the summer.

Good shout. Sven has had to gamble a bit with players and tactics. It hasn't Paid off this season, but I have no doubt next season will be a different thing all round.

Not again surely! What are you basing this on! Look at the past two months and you can surely see, despite a good start under Sven we have not improved any further.. Why should we romp the league next season?

Heresay and speculation run through threads like this incessantly. Misplaced positivism is no good and serves to hide omissions and paper over cracks..

Denial of the facts (just look at our record under Sven the past two months) is pointless.

I no more think, based upon yesterday's capitulation that we are gonna win the league next year than we will be relegated next year.. I think Sven will improve us over time, however my concerns about strange team selections and tactics remain.. They are facts, not emotion nor sentiment, and cannot be disputed. If he gets a settled team, and motivates them, then we may do well next year... But no-one can blindly say we will do well, but just hope that we do....

I'm sick of the Sven love, he's done ok but no more. He's not the best in the world & he's not even the best in our league. How many on this forum would love to have had the Thia investment with NP at the helm? I know you can't look back, but maybe you can remove the Rose tinted glasses and see what's going on.

He needs to buy a settled defence for next season, and I don't think he'll be given the funds other than for loans. That's the way we seem set to do business, and if that is the way it goes then I think we're in trouble. Naughton won't be here next year, no chance. So there's some rebuilding to be done & possibly bridges to be built with players like Lloyd Dyer who, let's face it, must be pretty pissed off at sitting out so much of the season on the bench whilst the loanees miss chances that he is more than capable of missing too!!!

Sven has done a great job, apart from the odd fook up here and there ( bruma and pva )

Im looking forward to pre season and next year! Promotion push and if we went up this year we wouldn't have great weekends away like Blackpool and Brighton next year!!!! :scarf:

Micky adams' motto 'keep the faith' still going strong eh? Not feeling it. too many loans, too much tinkering, too little effort shown on the pitch.

sorry to be negative and I'm not a Sven hater, but I haven't seen enough to convince me that we will get in the autos next season, hopefully play offs. would love to be wrong, but I don't know, something doesn't seem quite right to me, and it's not just the loanees. there's been something so bizarre about our results and consistency that doesn't seem quite right to me, 4 - 0 against the burners then lose SO horribly against reading? that implies to me that we have the capability already but something else is wrong. mark these words, I said fryatt would hit double figures, check my older posts.

Exactly what we were talking about yesterday a weekend away in Brighton, looking forward to that, guaranteed it will be a mid week fixture though just to piss us off.

Too many loan players is a major problem. Sven maybe a very good manager, but maybe not at this level. He has major rebuilding to do over the summer. It seems he can spot the odd player at the big premier league clubs, which will probably mean more loanees joining. Would a 'right hand man' with a bit more nouse help Sven spot alternative potential SIGNINGS ? Just a thought !!

Sven has transformed us. Took the club from bottom of the league to within touching distance of the play offs, as well as bringing in some fantastic high profile players and entertaining us with some wonderful games.

But, some of his decision making is abit, not poor, but questionable. For example, he always seems to make his substitution's to late and he changes with the defence far to often.

Drunk/deluded whats the difference, in the morning you'll probably be daft enough to feel the same, believe you me Sven gets paid plenty and you contribute to his wages by buying tickets; the fact that Sven has actually done slight good here should be a no brainer

Everyone on here knows that I dont particularly rate Sven, for quite a few reasons.

But people saying he should go are foolish and quite stupid. We all go on about consistency and how it is needed, and that is the case now more than anything. He should be given the whole pre season and a dozen games next season to really prove himself, then we can truly judge him. He might even make me change my mind about him.

One thing is for sure, we will be one of the favourites to go up next season, and everyone should at least be confident of a good season.

Eugh! People bashing on about too many loans are starting to piss me off. Sven has had no other choice than to use loans this season if we wanted to mount a realistic promotion push. And I'm sorry but it is undeniable that we have, even if we may have fallen at the final hurdle (like many other teams).

If, by christmas, out starting 11 still consists mostly of loanee's then bitch away.

Pearson overacheived with that squad last season, I doubt very much that he could have reproduced the kind of form that saw us finish 5th.

Sven has put a smile back on our faces! We play entertaining football and next season we will reep the rewards! We have gone from a head in the hands oh dear team, to an exiting prospect!

you should be punch drunk , sven has lost us our chance . yes sven . oh and for the money side of him , read the notw .

Ahh, the seminal and intuitional inner view of the Football League that other news reporters miss.

The day I read the News of the World without the intention of deriding it, please shoot me!

lol the NOTW?

Who actually believes the constant stream of bullshit they publish and have the cheek to call news?

Also those bitching about loanees: Have you convieniently forgotten the pearson seasons:

08/09 - 10 loanees (Gilbert, Hobbs, Martin, M Davies, Cleverley, Brown, Bunn, Stockdale, Warner, Astrit)

09/10 - 5 loanees (Waghorn, McGivern, Bruce, Vaughan, Spearing)

10/11 - 12 loanees (Vitor, Ikeme, Naughton, C. Davies, Cunningham, Bednar, Kirkland, Van Aanholt, Bruma, Mee, Yakubu, Kamara)

Building a team based purely on loanees isn't something only sven has been guilty of, and given Vitor and Ikeme were both Sousa loans, sven hasn't made any more loans than pearson did in 08/09.
