Ya we all know what that was based on 🧐

Tyson was magnificent last night.  I must admit I'm envious of your trip, sounds amazing!

Regards AJ, I think he deserves some credit for his belts.  It's not like he inherited them or even fought for the vacant title.  He won them after the guy that won the vacant titles.  He beat Martin for the IBF and Parker for the WBO for instance.

If the unification fight happens, I would have to pick the monster that is Fury on last night's evidence, but let's celebrate the fact that we've got two current world champions!

We’ve just GOT TO see that fight ...  let’s just chop out ‘the also ran’ yanks !! .....   how good would that be !!    The big big biggest heavyweight event in the world, and not a star spangled banner in sight !!!     :)

Last night was good but the BIG fight is next weekend in Derby 👍

Our kid is looking to defend his 6 unbeaten and if he goes 7 unbeaten he’s then fighting in mid March in Notts for a regional belt.

I really wish him all the best!!

Slept all the way

I’m itching to know if there has ever been a TWO times heavy weight champion of the world who was actually undefeated 🤪 in fact has anyone at any weight ever been a two times and still undefeated

amazing trip, I give thanks that I did it and could do it

I think that Mayweather came out of retirement and remained undefeated so I expect that he has done it.

He also moved from Welterweight to Light Middleweight and back again so I assume that he relinquished his welterweight belt and won it back?

Lower weight divisions confuse things a bit as there are more fighters who changed divisions and regained belts that they had only lost as a consequence of moving up or down. Floyd for example was the lineal Welterweight champion, went up to Light Middle and won that, dropped back down to Welterweight and then went back up to Light Middle again and in the process regained a lot of belts he gave up. I am sure there is loads more examples of this but I can't think of any at Heavyweight. I think the closest would have been if Ali had beat Frazier in the Fight of the Century.

It's shit but I'm not going to lie, I might use that as a chance to finally visit Saudi Arabia. Perfect for a 4-5 day trip.

Probably makes me a massive hypocrite.

I’d have thought AJ will avoid this for as long as possible, fighting mandatory candidates for his existing belts. He doesn’t need to fight Fury yet and would be dangerous for him to do so in extreme. I would have thought he’d wait 12 months plus - give Fury time to self destruct or age or both!

Hope it happens but can’t see why AJ would be in a rush despite the £100million fight fee in SA.

yeah the same people who put the money up for AJs Waltz with Ruiz in Saudi Arabia were ringside for the Fury Wilder fight

Absolutely fantastic from Fury. Dominated from start to finish. You could maybe make a case for giving Wilder R2, but he just got beaten up.

I wasn't a fan of Fury in his earlier years, but lets have it right, he was a genuine bell-end until a few years ago. He was rightly called out for some of the nasty shit that he'd said and done and looks to have grown up and become a very likeable fella, who will go down as one of the greatest British heavyweights, if not the best.

It's at the stage now that if he faced Joshua, he would be the fans favourite. Incredible really.

I'm not entirely sure I'd call him likable but I do think there's a big difference between Tyson Fury the bloke and Tyson Fury "The Gypsy King.  The latter is a stage act and is a complete muppet.

When you actually sit him down and he's just talking about boxing as a sport he comes across really well as a decent guy that absolutely loves the sport and is incredibly knowledgeable on it.

With you on that one ...  the guy is very likeable and has come through some bad times ..   but the gypsy bit makes your hackles come up ...   especially when his old man opens his gob ...  "Yeah i couldn't get over there cus i've got a record for gouging my ex mates eye out in front of his young son over a row about a drink from a few years before"  ...      Basically a very nasty bullying piece of work.
