Bert Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 England can all but seal qualification with a win on Tuesday night. Expecting a comfortable win but Wales shouldn't be under-estimated especially after a big morale boosting win on Friday.
THFC6061 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Wales did England a huge favour by beating Montenegro 2-1 the other day. Hard to see anything but an England win on Tuesday evening. Finnegan Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Heart says a narrow 2 - 1 Wales with a rampaging Bale in monster form. Head says 3 - 1 England.
Ric Flair Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Living in Brent has enabled me to get tickets for this for £20, looking forward to it. Not been to the new Wembley yet, which is a little embarrassing given how close it is. Rooney 1st and last goalscorer and to score at any time, easy money.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Comfortable but underwhelming 2-0 win for England, Young and Rooney to score.
Simmo86 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 10k tickets left which is a bit of a surprise! Going 3-0 England with Bale in Smalling's pocket all night
BlueSi13 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 England are not playing well or looking particularly comfortable at Wembley with us not having won there for 4 games in a row now. However we should have enough to beat Wales on Tuesday though they will be upbeat following their well deserved win over Montenegro. But Bellamy is big miss for them it has to be said. 2-0 England for me with goals from Rooney and Barry.
Maybes Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Should be a comfortable win against a second maybe third rate footballing nation. However you never know with England.
Jimothy Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Should be a comfortable win against a second maybe third rate footballing nation. However you never know with England. I'm not sure Wales will be that comfortable!
leicesterisme Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Bale in Smalling's pocket. That'll more than likely be the case yes.
accessory Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Wonder if Kingy will make the Wales squad this time? Anything other than a comfortable England win, and the knives will be out again for Capello.
Webbo Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I wish I could be that confident, Wales will raise their game for us. Could be a draw, certainly won't be comfortable.
ScouseFox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Don't see why it won't be comfortable. They raised their game, had a capacity crowd, all hyped up and all that shit when we played them at their place and we didn't even make it out of first gear before going 2-0 up and then strolling the next 80 minutes. This should be even easier. Wales are bordering on woeful (being kind) and as cool as it is to think we're shit, we're actually not, if we play the same team as we did on Friday we'll walk this.

Wales actually looked quite decent on Friday before Ramsey and Morrison went off. If Bellamy and Vaughan hadn't got themselves suspended, tomorrow's game might have been fairly competitive.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 as cool as it is to think we're shit, we're actually not, if we play the same team as we did on Friday we'll walk this. This. This really should be a dicking. As it goes, I reckon we'll be comfortable without being ruthless. 3-0 or 3-1, something like that. Hope Capello shows more faith in some of the cracking talent at his disposal and drops more of the 'old guard.' Benching Lampard the other night was a start.
ScouseFox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Yeah and also on Friday in a trickier game we were terrific, but everyone's ignoring that. We're so much better than Wales, so, so much. There's no way this should, or in my opinion will be close.

I don't think we're shit, I just think Wales might want this more than us. Maybe I'm just a pessimist.
Dr The Singh Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I don't think we're shit, I just think Wales might want this more than us. Maybe I'm just a pessimist. Agreed, close game, we will win by the odd goal!! Wales will be tough, and really have nothing to lose!!

Full history of every England v Wales match...
