I posted this earlier guys. Don't shoot the messanger but heard through word of mouth last week that a certain Gianluca Vialli was watching our game against watford last week. Obviously I have no source but could this have any substance.

He has an affinity with Watford probably just watching them, nothing in this imo

There is other reasons for him being there, ex-watford manager and probably friends with Sven.

Don't worry. No way will it be Dowie. He doesn't tick any of the boxes the Thai's will be looking for.

He does.

He ticks the "tick here if this bloke would be a terrible choice as manager of any football club, including LCFC".

It will be a high profile name but this time somebody who has had success in the Championship before. The 2 names that fit this are Roy Keane and Roberto Di Matteo.

I would be happy with Simon Grayson, Billy Davies or Lee Clark but they seem unlikely.

Martin O'Neill gets my vote. He would get the whole place buzzing again.Give him a contract for the rest of the season as Captain Shrapnel has stated.

If he gets us promoted and no other top job becomes vacant then make him an offer thats too good for him to turn down.

Failing this either 1 of

Lee Clark

Billy Davis

Di Matteo

We're jinxed!!! Jose mourinho couldn't

even get us promoted. Anyways shit jokes

aside I honestly believe Sven was still on

a wee bit of a learning curve (maybe too long)

but I still truly believe he was learning fast

and would have got us into the dream land!

If we get Avram Grant I will shoot Top in the face.

Although the thought of MON is amazing, imagine how horrible it would be if he failed to get us anywhere and was sacked too. His cult status would be severly dented...

Why on earth do people bother mention Billy Davies, awful choice can't imagine players like Beckford & Nugent wanting to be bossed about by a short arse.

lol What kind of height should we be looking for in a manager? I think five foot nine and three quarters is probably acceptable.

MON would be epic. I too don't wanna see his legacy ruined. But Dalgleish has seemingly got away with it, with a longer time away. Would he be up for it? Would he wanna come back? We have money, new stadium, adventurous and ambitious new owners, quality existing squad.

C'mon Martin, come home.

If you actually read this post then ask yourself why would you sack Sven to replace him with Lee Clark, Billy Davis, Di Matteo ? wouldnt happen that would be classed as stupid, its going to be a big name simples

Whoever it is wiIll be number 8 in 4 years so at least he will know he has a good future here and the backing of the fans. If we actually get a good manager we'll probably sack him before we notice!

I'm not convinced. Every time we got one good result we never followed it up in the next match. The away results were abysmal through his whole tenure. This meant the home results had to be exceptional but we've already lost 3 ....and 2 of these teams are right down the bottom.
