Bert, I don't know why you feel the need to justify yourself after every negative comment towards yourself. Just ignore it mate.

I just want people to understand where I'm coming from -if they're gonna throw shit at me I like to stand up for myself.

Cheers though.

I'll happily take criticism, doesn't bother me one bit. The Hughes news was never mine, I was just relaying it and I even said that.

Who was the first person to reveal Naughton would be signing? Errr, me. What about the Dyer signing? Adams? Morrison?

How many people on here know half the stuff that's gone on at the club in the past few years that's not been mentioned? I could reel off many things, but I've kept a secret because I've said I would.

All I ever do is say what I have been told. Maybe sometimes they say things because the club don't like things getting out. I've no reason to doubt what they tell me, so I say it.

If people feel they've got to abuse me over an Internet forum or a networking site, then that's their problem and I feel quite sorry for them.

If you hadn't posted that I would have. I'd say 95% of the folks on here appreciate what you do and take it on face value, it's what you've been told by a reliable source but it may not be gospel.

And wonder why Bert, Toffee_fox etc. will eventually get put away because if they got a thing wrong we'll bite there heads off. Take what you want but when they eventually get pushed away don't blame anyone else because it'll be your own false.

NB: To the people who do have a go at ITK's.

If he can't take criticism when his posts turn out to be wrong, he shouldn't post rumours as if they were inside info.

Not that I've even criticised him, it's his source who is bullshitting him (if he does in fact have a source)

He didn't, he was repeating Fourth Official

Someone posted it here as if bert had said it himself

Anyway, back on topic, like mentioned above I think a tough guy manager would do us good & worth a go after the nice guy routine didn't work

Must admit i really enjoyed the transfer window skimming from foxestalk to Bert to fourth official in what seemed like an endless cycle. If things didn't come off sometimes or is wrong info, so what things change quickly sometimes. Remember Davies tweeting he was joining 'Svens revolution' and then turning up at Birmingham.

Anyway keep the info coming.

On a personal note, there's no abuse.

My friends tell me to shut up, that I know nothing about football - and they're not far off - just look at some of my previous posts: That the Bjarneson link to City backed up the O'Neill-for-manager story; that Billy Davies would make the best manager because he's the only candidate to have done well in all four jobs he's taken on to date etc. etc. I know very little about football and you know very little about goings-on at Leicester City right now.

This doesn't mean you didn't know anything in the past. Years ago here there was a guy called Mad Biker or something like that, but he lost his 'connection' and disappeared. There have been others. You knew something and you don't any more. Now, I don't know whether this information you get these days comes via dodgy sources or whether it's John Edward-style mysticism. If you get something right I daresay it'll be because you know more about football than, say, someone like me does and can hazard a decent guess.

However you can't criticise people for having a go at you over the Internet when you choose to share this information over the Internet. And, in truth, none of this changes anything. Nicky Adams would have signed for City whether you predicted it or not. I agree it was nice to know it was going to happen a day before it happened, but there's no need to proclaim youself as some sort of authority on all things Leicester.

Someone else said we should get back on subject - well, I think Mark Hughes may well be a very good manager. He hasn't got three promotions to his name like Keegan, but he's a solid sort and City could actually be his big chance. But then, what do I know?!!!

It's 3 points lost. A new manager normally provides a boost. Only one goal in it. What if the play offs are missed by 3 points at the end of the season? or even one point?

Then point the finger at that total disabled of a ref who covered the Forest game.

This has an air of familiarity with Man City sack Sven bring in Hughes. I wonder if we will be taken over by an Arab Sheik.

And sign David Silva :-O
