The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 No he's right. Too many thought we'd win the league Edit sorry I meant to put walk, not win
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 What a cvnt, perhaps we should be a league one team ay Nige?... mind you, the tactics and substitutions your playing, we could well be one soon enough. WHAT A C0CK!!
I am Rod Hull Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He`s right... The money went to peoples heads.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 At the end of the day, the squad we have should be beating teams like barnsley.
phildw Posted 14 January 2012 Author Posted 14 January 2012 Noun 1. delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are delusion, psychotic belief - (psychology) an erroneous belief that is held in the face of evidence to the contrary F*** OFF Pearson! (Again!!)
shilton_fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 he spoke sense in that interview and anyone who thinks he didnt are idiots! pearson is working with a bunch of useless over paid twatts that sven bought, get in some young hungry players and quick
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 At the end of the day, the squad we have should be beating teams like barnsley. This
purpleronnie Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 At the end of the day, the squad we have should be beating teams like barnsley. I dont agree, our team sheet is no better than most in our league.
Tuna Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 you could weep at the amount of money we have and continue to pay to these overrated, overpaid losers. Ship them out.
lestajigs Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Spending over 11 million in this league, we should be in the top 4, there is no excuses
acooling08 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Well tbf I was laughing when people said we were gonna get automatic promotion this season. The majority of the fans' expectations are too high. I was expecting mid table.
fatmando Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I think it's bang on for some of the players over the last few weeks. It's not the only problem though. Tactics were also completely wrong today aswell though. We are in such a mess.
James18 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Spending over 11 million in this league, we should be top, there is no excuses Fixed....
Webbo Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I think he was talking more about the players than fans but in both instances he right.
davieG Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Wanting to win at home is not delusions / illusions of grandeur and irrespective of whether they are Pearson's players or not although 3 of the worst ones , Wellens, Gallagher and King are his there are far too many individuals under performing and have been for some time. Even the ones that were ok under Sven, Peltier and Nugent have now started to go backwards. Pearson with all his facilities and time with the players should be getting more from individuals and significantly more from their combined strengths. It's not complicated we're simply not performing the basics to any acceptable standard, nothing to do with being over ambitious although I do think all this 'public' talk early on about winning the league and having money to spend has been counter productive in it's affect on the pitch and our ability to get in players with the right attitude.
Leicester Lass Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He is right in terms of the season as a whole, but not in terms of expecting to beat Barnsley, and similar teams, at home.
fatmando Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Really need someone to lift the players for the next game, good job we've got a great captain....oh wait....that's right, we haven't! Oh well at least SSL's got good banter. FFS.
Tielemans63 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 he spoke sense in that interview and anyone who thinks he didnt are idiots! pearson is working with a bunch of useless over paid twatts that sven bought, get in some young hungry players and quick Agree 100% - Sven built s team on his image - they're all greedy, over the hill *****. he spoke sense in that interview and anyone who thinks he didnt are idiots! pearson is working with a bunch of useless over paid twatts that sven bought, get in some young hungry players and quick Agree 100% - Sven built s team on his image - they're all greedy, over the hill *****.

Attitude is appalling I expected Nige to instil a more into the team than he has done, at this rate he's gong to have to change almost everyone and it will be another wasted year
Ricey Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He's right. Since the Thai owners have come in the reaction from fans after results like this has been over the top. Yes we were crap, but we have to earn the right to be promotion chasers. No matter how much money we spend, it's never going to be as straight forward as that. Unfortunately, Sven spent a lot of money but has created an unbalanced and under-achieving team. Pearson needs time to sort it.
Babylon Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 This And they shouldn't lose to Millwall 3-0 at home. He's absolutely correct, both fans and players need to get real. If people don't like the truth then tough. We've been left with a crock of shit squad wise, people can blame Pearson all they like, but we were all mostly coming to that conclusion under Sven also.
lcfcsnow Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Spending over 11 million in this league, we should be in the top 4, there is no excuses You could spend 100 million on the defence and forwards but if you've got Gallagher Wellens and King in midfield you'll still fail.
