Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Nuri Sahin is far, far too good for that shower. Really wanted him to head to Arsenal.

The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. A further announcement will be made in due course.
ScouseFox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Glad he went there and not City. Being called a money grabbing cúnt by every Arsenal fan on Twitter, they're so stupid.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Shit form from van Persie and hugely disrespectful towards a man who's made him the player he is now.
21st Century Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Can't even imagine him in a United shirt. Would have much preferred to see him move to Serie A or La Liga.
whitlock Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Can't stand United, clueless bunch of 'fans' Never understood how you can support a team that you never watch in the flesh.
Wymsey Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I can't see Van Persie and Rooney working together tbh. They're of similar playing styles.
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I'll say it again, Ferguson is such a hypocrite. Quick to critisize other club's spending, when he is just as bad. Van Persie is a top player, no doubt, but at over 20million for such an injury-prone player that isn't exactly young, bit over the top imo!? Also, can't see him working with Rooney either. United fans all over facebook now Don't even go to games yet always come out with 'Leicester are sh**' 'what division you in?' etc
Jimothy Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Agree with Fox92 and Wymesy, can't see it working with Rooney. They play far to similar roles, even of they do play them in different ways. If there's one criticism that can be aimed at Fergie in his trophies laden career, is I think he sometimes signs player without too much thought about where they'll fit into the team. Not just big name big money signings, the little ones as well. Signing RVP when he has Rooney is one example, when he signed Berbatov I don't think he know what to do with him. He's signed the lad from Dortmund, when he has numerous wingers and forward thinking midfielders. £7m on Bebe too. Djemba Djemba, Kleberson, Poborsky, Tiabi, all players signed who were either next to useless or never featured because Fergie didn't know what to do with them. Loves to throw money about does Fergie, just doesn't like others doing it.

sdb Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Rooney/RVP/Hernandez and Wellbeck is a pretty tasty set of options.
AKCJ Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Cant belive hes gone to United. I thought hed go to someone like Juve where hed ein trophys but not disrespect Wenger.
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Shit form from van Persie and hugely disrespectful towards a man who's made him the player he is now. Totally agree.
Jimothy Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Rooney/RVP/Hernandez and Wellbeck is a pretty tasty set of options. Well there's already a rumour little pea will leave. Can't imagine Welbeck will be too chuffed either. When people talk about stiffling English talent this is prime example. Welbeck had a breakthrough season last year and played in his first major tournament, and now might find himself stuck on the bench again.
Guest MattP Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Sad fact is Welbeck is decent but he's not a player who is going to be playing in teams challenging for champions leagues and that's where clubs like Man U should be aiming.

Guest MattP Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Read on SSN that he signed a new contract. He 'earns' 75k a week!! Theres the exact reason why some of our players think they are better then they are, he's won nothing, not done much and earns that. Obscene.

Very disappointed in our owners for not puttiing a bid in, RVP, Vardy, Nuggs and Beckford would rip this league apart.
