Will be vague given it's not long been out, but thought Squid Game 3 was alright all things considered. Season 2 was a bit flat given it just ended, so does help this one had an actual ending. Was a bit predictable, but quite watchable.

Cameo at the end was a bit weird and unnecessary. Yes we see who you are, no need to hang on this frame any longer.

I was n’t as invested emotionally in the characters this time around and not a particularly satisfying outcome.

Hooked on the original Mission: Impossible TV series (1966 to 1973). Got the Blu-ray boxset for cheap recently.

Not every episode is golden, but there's plenty of stories that have really stood the test of time rather well.

The most interesting aspect in most episodes are the measures taken by the IMF team in order to accomplish their mission.

Just finished Dept Q.

Easily, easily the best 'COP drama' for a very, very long time and easily the best thing I've seen on TV this year.

Characters were absolutely ****ing fantastic.

Not sure what to make of Squid Game S3. So inconsistent. When it was good it was fantastic TV, when it was bad it was bafflingly awful.

Remember this in the 80s and 90s.

Anyone else watched Such Brave Girls, another 1 of those tucked away BBC3 Bafta winning comedies. It's not going to appeal to everyone but a bit of a guilty pleasure after just discovering it bearing in mind S1 was shown backend of 2023.

Got a bit bored of Squid Game 2 so almost didn't bother with SG3. Glad that I gave it a go. Seems that most of SG2 was setting the scene for SG3 which has reverted to its original suspense and drama. Some brilliant games (especially the skipping rope in E3) and plot twists right up to the end. Quite emotional. Even an appearance from a famous actress!

Have to admit that I needed to watch a YouTube explainer to understand the finale! 🐙

Got my B5 box set out for a rewatch, even to this day the show has such well written character development that few can rival, especially Londo's going from a beaten down well mannered diplomat to a tyrant in the making which horrifies him and then to a savior of his people.

Mid nineties wasn’t it on channel 4, quite late if I remember correctly? SX might have been a bit ropey and what were the Volons all about, but it was decent television.

93 to 97 and yes the Vorlons were the enigmatic good guys:ph34r: pulling strings, also had a Star Trek legend playing the equally enigmatic Bester of the Psi Corps who danced between the lines, the CGI at the time was pretty ground breaking, very dated by todays standards but the writing and story were top notch, its main TV rival was DS9.

A B5 space battles montage, some were from the follow on TV movies ....

Just got a flight back to East Midlands this morning. The lad sitting directly in front of me was practically being mobbed by various passengers and the cabin crew were so slow to do the drinks cos they were all getting selfies with him. Then when we landed the same again, took bloody ages getting off as he was blocking the aisle.

Had no idea who he was but according to the bloke opposite me his name is Harrison from Love Island. So if any of you watch that I think he's a bellend.

Thanks for the recommendation. I started watching a couple of days ago and I got hooked after the first ten minutes. Great story, direction and acting.

Each to their own but somehow illustrates the shallow nature of celebrity worship. Hardly someone who has made a cultural impact.

I watch it and agree he is a massive bellend.

I'm also guessing it's safe to assume he doesn't make it to the final, as it's still on TV and at the moment he's still in the villa...

So thanks for the massive spoiler lol

I thought the participants in the games were more interestingly written than S1 too.  The overall plot writing was bit choppy mind.

Been away this week so I’ve had to make do with highlights but hoping for a Yasmin or Shakira win from here.
