I’ve enjoyed The Squid Games Challenge.

Superb drama (although a few too many tears and high fives for my liking thanks to our American cousins )

Gonna be a long wait until next Wednesday for the final episode!

Yes, I didn’t realise that, when we binged the 2nd part last night.

Its more of a social experiment at this stage I guess.

I agree on the years though. They treat it like they don’t know it’s an elimination competition.

Oh, a few of been interesting.

*SPOILERS - PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED YET*

65 with his approach to the marbles. Somewhat annoying and a sore loser.

278 approach to the glass floor game. I was hoping she’d fall. I’ve still no idea why no one dug her out about that if they’d agreed a system. She let the bloke in front jump three times on his own. I’d have done exactly the same thing as Mia did to attempt to eliminate her.

I thought 382 was a bit of a **** for stating that woman had decided to sign language at marbles to get an advantage.

Player 432 was your stereotypical American College Athlete with an alpha personality. He was fun to watch but came across as a bit of an idiot. Offering someone out in the corridor was a bit uncalled for.

I wanted Bee to win as she aced Battleships and was British. I didn’t realise it was all filmed in the UK.

I was reading IMDb earlier and it seems 50% of the bad reviews are from people who thought it was a series 2. lol

It’s got the biggest single prize in game show history ever apparently. I’m still not sure it isn’t slightly scripted or some people are just …….. odd.

I think the circle of trust challenge was brilliant, I just can’t relate to the final 3.

Phil is so annoying and just someone I can’t warm to.

Mai I think is a nasty piece of work, I’m not arsed who wins now tbh

That's shocked me. Would have bet my house it was a US production

Mai and Hair aren’t likeable. They did a good job with the circle of trust challenge though.

Beardo is just a bit bland.

@Izzy I’d assumed it was America as well. It was only when I went to check online why they were doing red light, green light with hands in their pockets. Six hours, in February down in Bedford was the answer :o

Yeh I wanted the Irish guy too. The girl who finished 4th was also likeable

If it’s a typical Prime series where they do a drawn out plodding first series then kill it off, then I’m going to postal on Prime HQ.

If it's anything like my run through of Fallout 4 it'll just be the main character scavenging tuxedos so the doormen on their camp looked sharp.

Stasi FC on Sky at the mo. It’s only on demand until Boxing Day. Documentary football in East Germany and in particular Dynamo Berlin. It’s superb.

Also another here who thinks Squid Games The Challenge is great fun

Just to confirm how good Kin on bbc iplayer is.

Watch Love/Hate on ITVx man, 5 series, very good cast and Aidan Gillen fron Kin is in it as well. Definitely power through the first series though, it grows in to a much better series than the first would have you think.

Squid game: the challenge was absolutely brilliant and the finale was great and the winner was totally deserving.  To win the game you had to be smart, intelligent, ruthless with a little bit of luck. I was rooting for the winner halfway through the games and they came through. Brilliant series.

Agree with you mostly on this, however I found the finale to be uninspiring and pretty boring to be honest. Definitely a fair share of luck required, and next to no skill.

Also, I just don't understand the tactics used by one of the final 3 once the first person had chosen their shape. I'm not sure why they volunteered to go first as it basically gave them a 50/50 chance of getting eliminated. If they had chosen 2nd, they would have pretty much been guaranteed a spot in the final 2 (given that the other person could have either picked the red shape and got eliminated or picked the green and chosen the other individual for the final spot). Seemed a very odd tactic, which ultimately backfired.
