Mrs Browns Boys and Gavin and Stacy, proves how bad British sitcoms have gone... well does Mrs Brown Boys come under Irish? well funded by the BBC. Still crap and extremely unfunny. Not sure I know many people who still enjoy it, I swear the BBC make another episode each christmas purely because their struggling to find something that's fits into a 40 minute slot.

Mrs Browns Boys should never have got to the commissioning stage in the first place.

The fake "live" recording "bloopers" is just dreadful. At first it seemed spontaneous but now it's so easy to see how contrived it is.

It is dreadful, but you can see why people of a certain age would enjoy that sort of humour. I used to work with a guy who loved it and he was just into his sixties.

I'm in my late 60's and I can't abide it.

Swear audience are paid to come. Carroll is not remotely funnny, man dressing up as an old lady been done some many times before. Notably Mrs Doubtfure, which is funny without being as extreme mrs brows boys. Maybe irish humour doesn't cut it here.

Does anyone else find all the hype around Gavin and Stacey a bit grating.....my Mrs loves it,but don't find it in the least funny myself.

I think the hype is that the BBC have so little to offer this Christmas. No big drama in the 9pm Xmas day slot.

New Wallace and Gromit was class.

Fantastic. The animation is incredible and you would never know it wasn't Peter Sallis.

I cannot stand it, but my mum - in her sixties absolutely howls at it. Has to be a generational thing.

Really looking forward to Gavin & Stacey. Sure there will be some that scoff at it for the sake of being unpopular, but I’m going to enjoy it nonetheless.
