bald reynard Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 go to this page and type in #lcfc, click people to see what the leicester lads are tweeting, and whatever you do don't type in #pussy http://twitter.com/#!/search-home Thanks Yorkie, that's so helpful - I've never been great on all this 'techie' stuff. And you did it without any of the heavy 'irony' of Lesta Legend ! You've opened up a whole new world for me (and many others, I bet) !
Corky Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 "he was talking to bromby after the leeds leicster game and he said that he leaving leeds was the biggest mistake he ever made and that he went to everton thinking it was a big club but you havent seen anything until you played for leeds united" Everton are far bigger than Leeds.
Fox92 Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 SSN reporting Leeds and Huddersfield in talk with us for Lee Interesting. So we've already rejected Huddersfield's 650k bid, as the owner's want the full amount back. Don't see a problem with that. Ta. Transfer can't be close then. Why not? Robert Green somehow signed for QPR despite representing England at Euro 2012 this summer.
ARM1968 Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 We could do worse than keep Peltier. He showed some promise early last season and then faded. But it seems like people want to lay the majority of our defensive frailties last season at his door. I think that's unfair. The whole team failed last year. But if we get our money back I trust NP to find a replacement.
jock2612 Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 I still think most of the problems that Peltier had were caused when Gally played in front of him.If he went forward to support Gally he was exposed because when Gally lost the ball his attempts to regain possession were pathetic and he had neither the pace or desire to chase back.I would be happy to see LP given another chance but fear the desision to let him go has been made.

That sums up Peltier for me not Gallagher, who did get back and cover despite the bollocks perpetuated on here
Petchy Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 Consistently leaked goals on our right hand side which went unnoticed by many for a long time, so not too fussed about this in all honesty.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 I prefer Moore and wouldn't be bothered if Peltier goes.
Fox92 Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 That sums up Peltier for me not Gallagher, who did get back and cover despite the bollocks perpetuated on here When? I've watched the season review (again) today and not seen him Gallagher get back and cover/support Peltier once... I appreciate people how back Gallagher up always see this but I'm yet to see an example.
Jimmy Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 its hard to support someone who wasn't there, Gallagher would often be hanging back not being able to get into a decent crossing position due to the lack of positional awareness for Lee Peltier
Lesta Legend Posted 17 July 2012 Posted 17 July 2012 its hard to support someone who wasn't there, Gallagher would often be hanging back not being able to get into a decent crossing position due to the lack of positional awareness for Lee Peltier Tbh neither of them have this ´positional awareness' you speak of
Filberts Treat Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 @StringerSport: Reports suggesting Lee Peltier is leaving the #lcfc pre-season tour early to discuss a transfer to either Leeds or Huddersfield
Trickyfox Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Look like Peltier is on the move to either Leeds or Huddersfield – Not going on the pre-season tour..... Real shame, I thought he was a cracking player last season, got a little out of position at times but a solid defender.
Leicester Lass Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Look like Peltier is on the move to either Leeds or Huddersfield – Not going on the pre-season tour..... Real shame, I thought he was a cracking player last season, got a little out of position at times but a solid defender. He's already on the pre-season tour. If you're going by Stringer's tweet, it's already been posted in Transfer Talk.
Acetripper Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 It's been reported up here this morning on BBC Radio Leeds that 'Pelts' has cut short the pre-season tour with the Foxes to sort out his immediate future! They also report that Leeds Utd and Huddersfield Town are both in the frame to sign him. There are mixed feelings about this one amongst Terriers fans. Obviously we know what he's capable of but will he want to cover old ground? Personally, I think he'll plump for Leeds Utd if they can met the transfer fee and his wages.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 @StringerSport: Reports suggesting Lee Peltier is leaving the #lcfc pre-season tour early to discuss a transfer to either Leeds or Huddersfield Another Stringer 'exclusive'
Fox92 Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 I'm not going to call Peltier if he has cut-short his pre-season to sort it all out. If it is all true, it's been dragging on for some time and I suppose he will want to join up soon if Huddersfield or Leeds do have their bid(s) accepted. He certainly has a decision between two big clubs, but he obviously knows Huddersfield better. Personally, I still think he has the ability to be a decent squad player. And a versatile one considering he can play full back, centre back and midfield.
JohnnyB Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Another Stringer 'exclusive' It's also being reported in today's Merc
Acetripper Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Our fans have mixed feeling about the possibility of Pelts returning because our right back Jack Hunt's just had a storming season. Pelts is a better defender but young Jack's fantastic going forward. On a personal note, when Pelts was here before he was big big buddies with Anthony Pilkington and Gary Roberts and although it might sound silly, the fact they're not here anymore could influence his decision. That said, he did comment that if we'd have gained promotion the season before via the Old Trafford Play-Off Final, he would have been happy to stay with us in the Championship. We'll see! I'm not holding my breath and as I've said, I reckon he'll go the Leeds Utd if anywhere
Adster Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 I prefer Moore and wouldn't be bothered if Peltier goes. How on earth can you form a balanced comparison when Moore has played about 3 games of championship football in his whole career? You've probably seen him play like once. Unless you're an avid Bradford fan?
flowwolf Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Something not right about the Pet's situation. If he's not good enough for us why do Huddersfield and Leeds think he is worth trying to out bid each other ? Either we have got it badly wrong or they have.
ARM1968 Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Well I think LeeP will be solid wherever he goes and we'll have let another decent player through our fingers. Shame, but we're used to it. We are Lestoh after all.
