Peltier to.............

I think he is. With better organization and NP's input he will be better.

Are you forgetting that Pearson was here for the majority of the season and that coincided with Peltiers drop in form?

He seams a decent lad but he was at fault for too many goals last year and I think his time is up

From the bottom of the Koren Merc article today:

Meanwhile, Lee Peltier has been left in limbo after City rejected offers from Leeds and Huddersfield for the full-back.

The defender has told City he wants to leave, but the club are holding out for close to the £750,000 they paid Huddersfield last summer.

Peltier had hoped to be able to speak to both clubs but City have refused him permission until they accept an offer, which now looks unlikely as the Terriers' interest seems to have cooled and Leeds are exploring alternative targets.

If he wants out then why reject bids rumoured to be around £650k and risk having a player at the club who doesn't want to be here, get rid asap!

The Mercury is a shambles on this story.

I would actually put it down to an over zealous PR department... It wouldnt be the first time a clubs PR department has tried to make a player look bad so the club can save face....

Firstly, I don't understand why Peltier should be leaving - if the stories are true. He was one of the better players from last season, and against top class opposition like Chelsea didn't look out of his depth.

If he is going to leave, I don't understand why we should reject £650k - it costs £10- £15k each week (someone might have a better guess at his wages!) that he stays.

Perhaps we have a sensible strategy, but I can't see it!

It's been said many times on here - Peltier began well, but when you analyse it closdely, an awful lot of goals came from his side. Whether this is just Peltier's fault alone is questionable, but he did seem to switch off when caught out of [position up field, IMO. I'd take £650000 - with a three year contract too, this would hardly represent any sort of loss.

One of the worst pieces of 'journalism' I've ever read. Lee Peltier is a midfielder don't you know....

Everyone seems to think hes younger than he really is

And FFS another ' Walkers Stadium ' numpty, he seems up to date on the players but not the stadia, great journalism

Wow! There's a huge mistake in practically every sentence!

...Jermaine Beckford a harsh £4m example.

...Peltier was, in fact, one of the success stories. With 47 appearances, the midfielder was slowly further developing his trade at the Walkers Stadium.

Why is a player, who joined just last season, being allowed to leave when Leicester spent so much on him in the first place? Last year’s nine new signings have had additions this summer...

Peltier has had no chance to grow into the team...

JB did not cost £4m, LP was not one of the success stories - probably the worst of the regular starters, not primarily a midfielder, got worse as the season went on, it's not the Walkers anymore, I wouldn't call £750,000 a lot, especially if we get a £650,000 sale, no mention of departees, and no chance to grow?! The writer just said LP got 47 apps!
