Or Andre Amougou (Bikey) alsO from Burnley. Ryan Bennett from Norwich? Always liked Craig Dawson too, he's gonna be a quality player. If Edgar isn't good enough for Burnley then IMO he shouldn't be classed as good enough for us.

Seems that in the last couple of seasons we've had a couple of good ones on loan that we've let get away, namely Ben Mee, who I really rated (for what its worth), and Vitor. Franck Rolling?

Although I do agree with what you're saying here, I doubt we had a chance to sign Vitor on a transfer. Would love to see him back on loan though, fantastic defender. Get back in at centre half, he'll sort his team mates, and opposition players, out!

General Smuts Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 How about Harry Maguire from Sheff Utd? Utter dogshite. Saw him 3 times last year and he's nowt but a centre back Peter Crouch. Got nowt but a header in him. Positionally useless and gives too many fouls and free kicks away. No distribution either. I know he's not a centre back but the only player from Sheff Utd i'd look at is Stephen Quinn. I hate him as a player but he's quality.

If he is now saying he wants a new central defender ( obvious to everyone anyway ), it can only mean he has already virtually got one. Whoever it is will shortly be known I reckon. Just seen Toffee Fox tweet, new central defender?
