Matt Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 That game tells me that we will be up there come the end of the season though. The result(s) tells me different.
Foxhateram Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Sack them all and shut the club down! Pearson is shit, De leat is shit, Moore is shit, Konch is shit, Morgan is shit, Marshal is shit, Drinky is shit, James is shit, Knocky is amazing clone him!, Dyer is shit, Vardy is shit, Nugent is shit, Beckford is the bees despite never scoring clone him. The board are shit. Knock down the KP and turn it into a Walkers crisps factory but keep beckford and knocky cus they can make the crisps init that'l be much better! Were getting relegated.
Corky Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I'm seriously confused by a number of posters saying shocking. What about the amount of possession carelessly conceded? The general slow tempo in the first half? It improved in the second because the first was so poor. I came away from Blackburn feeling we were unlucky. Didn't think that today. We didn't do the basics right and it cost us.
Mark_w Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 The result(s) tells me different. The fact that we've played five games so far tells me that all of you know **** all.
Yojoe36 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 WHAT THE FVCK!! CONRAD LOGAN??!! GET HER OFF!!!
The Guvnor Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Can't fault the team for effort but two school boy errors in defence led to their goals De laet and Konch, at least konch redeemed himself with a wondergoal. Lack of quality with final balls. Nugent looks out of sorts,Drinkwater made some fvcking howlers and he needs to stop shooting until he can get his shots somewhere below row fvcking Z. All the effort and industry of the players continuously being wiped out by poor defending. Pissed off goodbye!
James18 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 For the third time this season, we have lost when we deserved not to. I really hope nobody is blaming Pearson becasue it's the players fault for not putting chances away, not his for getting tactics right. My only problem with todays game is that we crossed WAY to much for a team that doesn't have a player who can get his head on them.
foxesfan1989 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 "is it time for Conrad Logan in goal?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Radio Leicester callers have reached a new low.
Jimmy Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 someone has just suggested its time to recall Conrad Logan on RL??? how is Kasper at fault with the goals
NiftyFox Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 HAHA someone on the phone wants Logan starting. Good on you!
Babylon Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 What there'll was NP thinking of bringing MW on at 2-1 down when we have a proven premier league goal scorer sitting on the bench. He was probably thinking the last time he brought that player on he was utterly woeful beyond belief.
ballso Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Disappointed with Drinkwater today, I thought he was awful to be honest. His passing was shocking and he had two shots that I can recall, one that he skied and the other that went miles wide of the post. I also think he slows play down a lot. At this rate Wellens will walk back into the side when he's fit. On the plus side, I thought Knockaert was quality when he came on. He looks different class and like he can make things happen. He needs to start on Wednesday. I also thought Waggy played well when he came on. Nugent looks totally bereft of confidence and a shade of the player he was last year. Overall, very disappointed - first half we were shocking, second half we were really good. Wolves were very poor too, which makes the loss all the more bitter to take.
shen Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Only 4 subs. You made one in the first half and one at HT. So that's roughly 2 mins added on. Ikeme had treatment for all of 30s and there wasn't any other time wasting from u And we made one mid-way through the second half (Waghorn for vardy), and you made 3 (Ebanks-Blake, Doumbia and Peczko) which makes 6.
ozleicester Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 BAHAHAHAHAHAHA Conrad ahead of Kasper.... at least im laughing briefly
Guest shearfox Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 The result(s) tells me different. To be fair the away games we have had haven't been easy, two relegated sides and a promoted side. Not easy to go there and pick up points, on performance we should have at least picked up three points from those games but at least we have some hard away games out the way now.
Corky Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 So we can't mark at corners, often lose the game in midfield and waste chances. Yet the keeper is the issue?
Matt Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Gotta say I don't feel Kasper is at the same level as he was last season, he's not been at his best this season but to point the finger at him and call for Logan to be put in goal is outragous.
5waller5 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I wonder if Pearson has been told to play attractive attacking football by the board when it's not his natural instincts? That had crossed my mind too ..... or they'd had a conversation along the lines of ... "we'd be more long term with our thinking if we saw a good footballing side emerging from the restructure..."
Babylon Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 And we made one mid-way through the second half (Waghorn for vardy), and you made 3 (Ebanks-Blake, Doumbia and Peczko) which makes 6. The point he's making is that one minute of those subs was first half and at half time.
MooseBreath Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I know expectations are low this season, but some people saying we played well? Were we watching the same game? We competed, I mean we didn't get battered, but played well? Not even close. We looked clumsy all over the pitch, lacked any real attaching threat, made bad basic decisions and gave away easy goals against a poor team. That was a poor performance and a poor result by a poor team with a poor manager. I've said before that the best we can hope for this season is mid-table, I now think mid-table will be a good result. For all the ambition shown by the owners, we've a manager with no ambition at all and that shows in the players he has let go, the players he has brought in and our performances. We've been doing one step forward then one step back since Pearson came back. Today was 1.2 steps back.
Number 6 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 We cannot simply keep giving ourselves so much to do. We did not show up in the first half at all and some very poor defending allowed Wolves a comfortable 2-0 lead. We started the second half as we should have started the first. The introduction of Knockaert really helped. He seemed comfotable coming inside and having a bit of a roaming role. Given the poor form of our strikers at the moment I would be happy for him to start behind any one of Nuge/Vardy/Becks on Wednesday. It was an encouraging second half but the damage was already done and starting a game in such a manner has to be stopped. It's always easy to question the manager's subs after a game when you haven't won too. Maybe Becks' would have put Waggy's chance away, maybe he wouldn't have been in that position at all. If Waggy sticks it in (as he should have), NP is hailed for bringing on a player most fans would not have. These are fine margins, but we are finding ourselves on the wrong side more often than we should. I would like to see more midfield options on the bench to be honest. Danns (although he cannot pass for toffee) would have added bite against an aggressive Wolves side in the first half. Negatives: Defending from set pieces Attacking from set pieces Not clinical enough Poor first half showing again Positives: Knockaert caused all sorts of problems
Guy Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I didn't see the game and just caught snippets of the score on here and on SSN but already it is bearing signs of this precise time last season all over again - only this time we're losing away instead of at home! It was a disappointing result once again today obviously, with three consec. 2-1 defeats away in the league now, albeit against tricky opponents I guess. I don't know about today but at least we were worth a point at both Charlton and Blackburn. This has not been a good way to start the season though, along with that infamous home deffeat to Burton of course.....and already Pearson must feel like he's now skating on thin ice, coupled with his inability to turn around Sven's squad with having most of last season to do so. Obviously Burnley's turning into a must win game already now if we don't want to let ourselves get any further adrift - even though it will be a tighter league than ever this season. It sounds to me like our decent looking attack (on paper) is not compensating for our defensive frailties by not converting hteir chances whilst we give away sloppy goals. Stearman rarely scores at the right end so the fact that he did so against us is maybe a trifle worrying! I am surprised Futacks isn't starting up front if reports of long balls being pumped up the field of play are a common theme, going by the threads on here. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards......
Yojoe36 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 "We defended alight today" ....... please BBC. No more phone ins
5waller5 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 "Drop Kasper for Logan ... " Why?? Has he responsible for any of the goals today?? Hmmmm.... I don't know, just change it. WOW!
