Wolves away post match

The ingredients are all there, we just aren't clicking. Wolves are a crap team and won't be anywhere near promotion this season and yet we never really looked like scoring. The team needs a bit of a shake up next match.

thought we was pretty poor 1st half but 2nd we certainly was better.

Knockaert will start on Wednesday imo.

tho if im honest, before the season, I wouldnt have expected us to win at Wolves anyway...hate to say it.

also, annoys the fvck out of me, after every defeat we have certain sections of our fans that call for the manager to go.....get a grip

Pearson has just said himself you 'can't just defend with 5 or 6 you need a whole team performance'...

We played OK again but have been done by two shocking pieces of defending and the fact we can't find the net after creating endless chances.

Positives: Knockeart

Negatives: Waghorn instead of Fuctas  and a defender providing the goal.

On to the next one at least it's only three days away and hopefully we can bounce back with a win. :pearson:

Quote Pearson we didnt do our job correctly

YOU didnt

You're right...Why did he run on the pitch and put the ball in the back of the net after umpteen chances, or why didn't he clear one of Wolves' goals of the line!

Terrible performance, we looked dominant in the second half but actually, that was more down to Wolves being shit and inviting pressure. The bottom line is we were dreaful defensively, our midfielders were completely awful, and creatively we're shocking. We eventually created a couple of chances but our strikers are playing shit.

Crap day, fed up of away games, no idea why I keep watching/listening to them. Pathetic professionalism from pretty much all of them, they looked drained and demotivated from minute one.

Disgraceful first half and even when we 'gave it a go', we were still dogshit.

The reason Vardy and Nugent struggle together is they both have similar attributes and play the same way, so why we replaced Vardy with Waghorn who is just as similar baffles me. Futacs would have been perfect but maybe he's got a niggle for all we know. Beckford would have offered something different. We'd be better off playing 1 upfront if Pearson's only gonna pick from Nugent, Waggy and Vardy.

Hopefully Knockart will start ahead of Dyer forevermore.

We're more dangerous running at teams and creating space for one than we are starving two and letting them survive on scraps

we don't have a good enough striker to do that i cannot see any of our strikers playing the lone role

We haven't defended well since 09/10 under any manager, our coaching team is far too small, and I don't know if that's the manager's fault (remember how depleted Sven's staff was once Powell and Hamman left) or the Thais.

As I said in the match thread, we've lost 26 out of 49 away games since August 2010.

Disgraceful for a side claiming to want promotion.

The thing is. We start with players like Dyer who get subbed time and time again for being ineffective and he is always replaced by Knocky who EVERY time brings in instant reaction to the team! Why is this happening? You know next game, Dyer will start again and Knocky wil be warming the bench. Their is no reasoning behind this that I can think of

Because its his fault when they cross the white line and dont work without the ball and dont create options with it. Whether we should play 442 or not, today NP played it and we should have got at least 2 to get at least a point

I think Nugent and Vardy struggle together because they're both playing shit. Vardy tries but he can trap the ball further than I can kick it, Nugent looks to have a really poor attitude compared to last season. His game is all about working hard with and without the ball. Haven't seen that from him in the two games.

We just don't look like scoring, we have a lot of play get balls into the final throd but we look as potent as a tissue. Need to change our style away from home or it will keep being the same old story. Nugent and Dyer need dropping

Why exactly is that? We've overrun three good teams for the majority of the respective games, created plenty of chances and have looked decent in defense for most of the time. The style of play is exactly what's giving us a chance of winning these games. Cut out the defensive errors, don't throw the ball away at every other opportunity and we look like dominating and shutting out any opposition in this league.

Very pissed off. We have yet again gifted the game to the opposition. De Laet and Konchesky just simply not good enough today. Poor finishing again too. Not good enough.

To be fair to them, RDL and Konch didn't put a foot wrong second half. De Laet's crossing was poor until he hit three or four peaches in succession, two of which really couldn't have been laid on a bigger plate. And Konch was transformed at half-time, offensively and defensively. First half was a shambles, but then again only King and Marshall looked any good first half...

We don't have a goalscorer.

Forest- Cox

Wolves- Doyle

etc

http://news.bbc.co.u...ers/default.stm

our highest scoring player is a midfielder

We have three goalscorers.

Nugent - Lacking confidence

Vardy - Hit and miss so far this season but at least he tries

Beckford - Simply a goalscorer, who unfortunately can't hit a barn door for us

I just don't know what's happened to poor Nugent! How can he lose such goal scoring prowess :(

I was slagging De laet's shit crossing, then he started putting some beauts on the box  I really hope Knockaert starts the next game - he's such a little nugget!

One thing I was surprised about was how slow we looked! We seemed to really struggle with their pace - I never considered wolves a fast team?!?!?

Oh and how ****ing ugly are the wolves supporters...!!!!!

If Beckford played how Nugent played today, imagine how much shit he'd be getting right now!
