Wolves away post match

Knockaert: is a good player but he is an impact sub. The bloke ran himself into the ground in the time he was on the pitch and towards the end he was already tiring. I just can't see why so many people do not see how a whole defence shifts to one side when they have the pace of Dyer shitting bricks out of their right back.

Nugent: Its the same old story with the fans on this one, he isn't scoring every game so drop him, the bloke needs a goal he cannot get that from the bench. He was our top striker last season. He scored MORE than everyones bum boy Beckford and has played and scored at the top level of football. You don't turn shit over night ;).

Moore: Is a traditional CB, I just cannot see why our fans want a CB who pisses about with the ball. Everyone loved Bamba because he brought the ball out and 'passed' the ball to feat, they forget though the amount of times he lost the ball doing so and nearly cost us, I refer you to one of Morgans scuff up's today whre he did the same. Moore like a good CB gets rid and tbh I would prefer that then lose the ball in a dangerous position.

Bring on the next game. We are creating chances and playing well. The results will follow. Just be god damn patient. If we were playing shite and losing every game I would understand everyone's reactions but christ all mighty we are doing alright.

overnight you say, he has not scored in 11 games!!!

And we made one mid-way through the second half (Waghorn for vardy), and you made 3 (Ebanks-Blake, Doumbia and Peczko) which makes 6.

Errrr........1 + 3 = 4.

I'm talking about 2nd half injury time being too much. You do realise that what happens in the first half doesn't count?

Sack them all and shut the club down! Pearson is shit, De leat is shit, Moore is shit, Konch is shit, Morgan is shit, Marshal is shit, Drinky is shit, James is shit, Knocky is amazing clone him!, Dyer is shit, Vardy is shit, Nugent is shit, Beckford is the bees despite never scoring clone him. The board are shit. Knock down the KP and turn it into a Walkers crisps factory but keep beckford and knocky cus they can make the crisps init that'l be much better!

Were getting relegated.

oh dear...

There were a couple of incidents of time wasting as well.

I didn't see the game and just caught snippets of the score on here and on SSN but already it is bearing signs of this precise time last season all over again - only this time we're losing away instead of at home! It was a disappointing result once again today obviously, with three consec. 2-1 defeats away in the league now, albeit against tricky opponents I guess. I don't know about today but at least we were worth a point at both Charlton and Blackburn. This has not been a good way to start the season though, along with that infamous home deffeat to Burton of course.....and already Pearson must feel like he's now skating on thin ice, coupled with his inability to turn around Sven's squad with having most of last season to do so.

Obviously Burnley's turning into a must win game already now if we don't want to let ourselves get any further adrift - even though it will be a tighter league than ever this season. It sounds to me like our decent looking attack (on paper) is not compensating for our defensive frailties by not converting hteir chances whilst we give away sloppy goals. Stearman rarely scores at the right end so the fact that he did so against us is maybe a trifle worrying! I am surprised Futacks isn't starting up front if reports of long balls being pumped up the field of play are a common theme, going by the threads on here. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards......

Are we really into 'must win' territory already? Come on.

Knockaert - What positive impact did Dyer have today then? Because whilst the defenders may have 'shit bricks', they didn't actually have to deal with a thing in the first half. So I couldn't care less if their whole back 4 had to change shorts at half time, Dyer did fvck all. Knockaert, on the other hand, actually created 2 great chances, Waggy's which hit the post, and the one two with Marshall where his first touch cost him scoring a goal. So tell me, Dyer might look really scary because he's so quick, but lets hear what he actually does.

Nugent - It's not just he hasn't scored, it's not just he's wasted good chances, it's he's really struggled to get into the game. For most of last season, he wasn't standing around whinging to the ref, he was looking for the ball and making things happen himself. Where is that now? He is a good player, but he's playing shit.

Moore - was dogshit, end of. I'm not overly bothered if a centre back isn't Franz Beckenbauer, but FFS he should be able to pass it to his own players, if he's playing straight to their strikers we've got no fvcking chance. And even if that wasn't an issue, his positional sense is poor and he's just not a very good defender. Similar to Mills.

If you thought we were good today you need your head checked. We were extremely poor for most of it.

AND WHY BRING WAGHORN ON INSTEAD OF BECKFORD, IS HE DELUDED

Waghorn has more strength than Vardy, Beckford and probably Nugent. Was unlucky not to score when hitting the post, especially considering it was his 'weaker' side.

Fooking clueless,

What there'll was NP thinking of bringing MW on at 2-1 down when we have a proven premier league goal scorer sitting on the bench.

7 PL goals is 'proven' ??

What about the amount of possession carelessly conceded? The general slow tempo in the first half?

It improved in the second because the first was so poor. I came away from Blackburn feeling we were unlucky. Didn't think that today. We didn't do the basics right and it cost us.

I agree the first half we were poor, saying that we did create a few chances. The defense was bad.

But going into the second half it picked up, I thought we could easily have got a draw and maybe nicked a win. We also out played them the whole second half, for that reason alone I don't think we were shocking.

I'm not having a go at your opinion, and I accept that we didn't play too good, but for people to call it shocking is an overstatement.

on performance we should have at least picked up three points

But we didn't and we didn't because we couldn't score in a brothel with a load of £50 notes hanging out our shirt pockets and our defence has more leaks than the titanic.

Like I have said (Time and time again) on another day we wouldn't have got a penalty against Blackpool, if we didn't get that penalty we wouldn't have won that game either because we weren't going to score of our own backs, no doubt our arse's would have caved in and we'd have conceaded tbh.

Drinkwater was abysmal!

Knockaert made a difference, James did well.

Vardy, de laet, dyer, Nugent on the whole, poor!

Different strikers on the pitch on weds please!

Those asking why he bought Waghorn on, would be the ones licking his ass if his shot had gone in. Furthermore, why didn't Pearson bring on Beckford? Well, because Vardy and Nugent are the same sort of player...and that wasn't working, so we had to bring on somebody who poses a different threat, and it very nearly paid off.

Stop looking for a scapegoat. This forum is pathetic when we lose. It's football, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't - ****ing deal with it.

For the third time this season, we have lost when we deserved not to. I really hope nobody is blaming Pearson becasue it's the players fault for not putting chances away, not his for getting tactics right.

My only problem with todays game is that we crossed WAY to much for a team that doesn't have a player who can get his head on them.

no you cannot blame pearson, no one can. he made a huge mistake bringing waghorn on, we was putting cross after cross into the box yet we have a 6f 5 guy sitting there but he thinks waghorn will change the game!!

Not in terms of where we end up in the table, no. But in terms of Nigel Pearson's position? Absolutely. We have what look to be two winnable home matches coming up. If we struggle in those games I think the owners will be making plans for a replacement. That's just the way the game is, particularly when a club has owners who have invested a lot of money in the hope of a quick return on their gamble.

Really hope we consider changing tactics for away games especially.

With two out and out wide men and two very lightweight midfielders, we just get overrun in midfield, and from what i've seen, the two midfielders are not particularly disciplined and vacate midfield far too often, meaning its very easy to get at our back four.

Personally i'd like to see us playing with a three, Drinkwater and James sitting, King playing off the striker and Knockaert and Marshall out wide.

Would in my opinion, give us more solidity and more of a foothold, especially in away games.

I can remember barely any. Certainly not 3 mins worth.

Ikeme was down for a couple of minutes after the goal went in too.
