chrishlcfc Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Has anybody heard anything about nugent's injury? Thought he played well yesterday and it will be a big blow if he is out for any amount of time as he seems to be the only striker who has the ability to score a goal.
acooling08 Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 He really is crucial to us. We have no other regular goalscorers in the squad.
ithuriel Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 We are looking very threadbare upfront now if Nugent is going to miss games. Problem is finding a quality striker that is cheap enough and who is not on the radar of others.
Happy Fox Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Any idea what problem is anyone???? david nugent â€@nuge101235 @Scoxy31Real cheers mate! Shit pen though! ! Neck is stttiiiffffffff!
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 I think I've had this before, it usually takes about three days to fully recover from. I'd imagine he'll be available for Ipswich, hope I'm right.
Spudulike Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Anyone know the latest on Vardy ?? Or SSL ??
Leicesterpool Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Anyone know the latest on Vardy ?? Or SSL ?? St Ledger isn't far away I don't think, maybe back for the Ipswich game. Unsure what's wrong with Vardy but even so he doesn't score enough.
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Unsure what's wrong with Vardy but even so he doesn't score enough. He contributes a lot to the team despite his goalscoring record, which isn't even that bad if we're honest. Not great, but not awful. You could certainly argue that Waghorn doesn't score enough either, hasn't played a lot of course but I don't think it's harsh to say he should've had two by now.

Sean St Ledger â€@seanstledger12 For the people asking my injury is gonna be weeks rather than days unfortunately.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 david nugent â€@nuge101235 @Scoxy31Real cheers mate! Shit pen though! ! Neck is stttiiiffffffff! Cheers
Fox92 Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Nugent is essential, simple as. Can't see another striker, even player, scoring. Really want St Ledger to return as well, ten times the player Whitbread is and his partneship with Morgan was good.
NiftyFox Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 SSL said on his twitter it will be weeks rather than days until he's back. I guess he will be back for the Sheff Wed game.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Just look at last years goals scored and assist stats. Then look at THIS years goals scored stats. Who was top last season and this season for City? Nuge! That's how important he is to this team.
dayday Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 I would give Jeff Schlupp a chance upfront if Nuge does not make....looked a player high on confidence yesterday and if Konchesky is fit ,then let him partner Waggy
MPH Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 I reckon if Nuge is out it would be time to give schlupp and Futacs a game! Poor Futacs.... what does e have to do to get a game!?
MGLCFC Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 I reckon if Nuge is out it would be time to give schlupp and Futacs a game! Poor Futacs.... what does e have to do to get a game!? Play an awful lot better than he did for 25 minutes at Watford
fleckneymike Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Fuctas is ****ing wank. We'd need an outbreak of cholera not witnessed since the dark ages to get him a game.

MPH Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 Play an awful lot better than he did for 25 minutes at Watford But its taken several games for waghorn to start finding form... Yet he hasnt scored i dont think...
MPH Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 Fuctas is ****ing wank. We'd need an outbreak of cholera not witnessed since the dark ages to get him a game. who's that But in all serious... wasnt he one of Portsmouth's better players when they played us a little while back? Its all about getting regular games... as has been proven with Waghorn...
Bugg Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 who's that But in all serious... wasnt he one of Portsmouth's better players when they played us a little while back? Its all about getting regular games... as has been proven with Waghorn... He had a very good game against us which is where people seem to form the opinion that he is an amazing striker. Portsmouth fans didn't actually rate Futacs very much at all either and from some brief cameos i've seen of him i can't see any reason why he'd help us, he's 6 foot 5 and can barely win anything in the air for crying out loud.
