LCFC FOX Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Would just like to say them at the top were brilliant today. Cheering and chanting their team on all game. Even starting the Mexican wave too.EDIT - Woops noticed I put Ipswitch instead of Ipswich.
Mark_w Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Deserve a massive amount of credit, can't have been an enjoyable day but they did themselves proud even if their players didn't. Glad someone started this thread.
kingfox Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 They didn't do the Conga line though, away teams who always get thrashed down here, usually do that but they didn't. So to me they were disappointing.
Fox92 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Did they bring many fans? Quite like Ipswich, decent club and certainly hope they don't go down.
Tom17LCFC Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Hate them but fair play, good spirits today.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Good bunch of lads, fair play, its a fvcking long way to travel to see your team play like that. Proper supporters, hope McCarthy turns it around for them (not too much though, just mid table obscurity will do )
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 They were good 2 seasons ago aswell when we won 4-2!
Craig Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Yeah, got a few mates who support Ipswich and they're sound. It was obviously fantastic to put six past them though. They brought quite a decent number with them too considering the distance, their form, the price etc.
Leicesterpool Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 They were great, very loyal supporters to there team. On the way home on the train I talked to a couple of them who lived in brum, basically they said they know there are going down even with the appointment of McCarthy, apparently a little too late appointment for them. They remind me of Doncaster Rovers last season when they kept singing "we're going to notts county"
Unabomber Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Good fans, shit team. Like us a few years back.
broughtonblue Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 class as always, they are a credit to their club.
purpleronnie Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 I just we don't now have a frienship with them like 'we' did after the cheltenham game. cringe.
Dan Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 They were the same when we beat them 4-2 seeing as that one seemed to be over by HT as well. We did the same at Portsmouth and you've got to ask - why not? Disgrace of a performance but why resign yourself to a shit day just because of the result?
Munshi Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 It was brilliant how they started off the mexican wave. Went round the ground a few times aswell
Poakey Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Decent numbers, looked just a little less then forest.
MooseBreath Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 Makes a bit of a mockery of the idea that 'getting behind the lads' makes any difference to their performance
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 Always liked Ipswich and their supporters, a friendly and down-to-earth bunch. Same goes for Norwich, must be an East Anglian thing. You sometimes forget that football supporters of other teams can be normal human beings when we are playing teams from chav scumholes such as Burnley, Blackpool, Hull and Millwall every other week

Bayfox Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 Never really been a fan of ipswich but have to say i feel sorry for those fans. Even when we have been shocking i really can't remember us being that bad. All over the shop at the back. Never even in the game and thats the 2nd 6 and 1, 5 already this season. Its gonna be a long season. They maybe down by feb at that rate.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 I do not want to see them relegated. Good fans, and a family orientated club like ourselves.
Maybes Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 990 of them made the trip. Not a bad effort considering how shite they are.
cambridgefox Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 No,no,no,I'm surrounded by these cvnts.if you had to put up with the shit they gave me when they had one better year than us in the MON years acting the big bollocks, even last week a load of them at a customers of mine were yet again saying they were still better than us,take better numbers away etc etc we are lucky, they talk shit. One of my best mates (ipswich fan)did phone me last night to say they are crap.i fooking hate them.Hope they go down. For me it's like your Forest/Derby/Cov.
Corky Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 990 of them made the trip. Not a bad effort considering how shite they are. And those who are regulars will have seen a 6-0 defeat at Blackpool and a 5-0 thumping at Crystal Palace to add to yesterday's game. I can see their numbers dropping heavily by May should this continue so often.
