It must be so frustrating being Lee Westwood. Tee to green one of the best of my generation but always struggled with the putter. Could have easily been a multiple major winner but the flat stick has ultimately always let him down. But I'm sure he can still sleep at night with £30m in the bank

The putting show from team USA was simply remarkable - the all round quality of the singles play especially was magnificent.

 

Shame as always about the American crowd but hey ho, you can't buy sportsmanship.

Don't think it would be right to criticize clarke, the scoreline was no worse than predicted. But....A couple more putts and we could have retained.

Was looking forward to Tiger's long awaited comeback this week, but he's just pulled out. Says his game isn't ready for the PGA Tour yet. But it was last week, and now it's not? Oh well, at least the organizers sold an extra shit load of advanced tickets I suppose....
