What you have quoted in bold is a fact.

Biting in the eyes of the law would either be classed as a s47 (abh) or s18/s20 (gbh).

No crime is more 'seriousness' than another. Therefore biting, causing either abh/gbh is not seen as a less serious offence than rape.

Within our law system, there are 3 levels of offences:

Summary Offences

Triable either way offences

Indictable offences

Now, this is where i suspect you have gone wrong. There is no such thing as a more 'serious' offence, all crimes are considered as serious as each other, therefore rape is not considered more serious than battery. Cases are actually placed into a category based on the potential sentence of a crime, it has nothing to do with the seriousness.

This point is backed up by the fact that a man found guilty of murder can be given no sentence and acquitted, whilst a man found guilty of driving offences may be given a sentence of imprisonment.

So...in the eyes of the law - Rape is no more 'serious' of an offence than biting, it is only our moral views which result in ourselves labelling offences as more 'serious'.

Source - First Class Law Degree, completion of my year BVC, and into my second 6 months of my pupillage.

Being an educated cvnt is no different legally or morally to being an uneducated cvnt, what you have said in this thread is both pathetic and disgusting, this thread about a single incident, which was not that serious, you may argue semantically that there is no difference legally or morally between abh and rape, but we are discussing one incident where one person was bitten but it didn't even break the skin, and you are bringing up rape.

Secondly to bring up Hillsborough and say what you said:

...

Is libellous as the facts state (you may have missed this minor story last year) that the Liverpool fans were not to blame. If you don't believe it take it up with Cameron: http://www.itv.com/s...r-hillsborough/

If as you say no crime is more 'serious' than another, and you have just committed libel then you are no different to Suarez, or in that case a rapist.

Now fvck off!

As for Suarez, indefensible, and this comes from someone who defended him a lot over the "racism" row. He bit someone, he should be punished, but he shouldn't be made an example of, if seen by the ref it would be a red card, 3 match ban, not really different to elbowing someone and probably less painful, and less likely to cause lasting damage, but more unpleasant. His past disciplinary record in this country is not one of violent conduct, but more diving and cheating, so should not be relevant to this case. 3 match ban, equivalent of red card and it will be done, by Wednesday, just don't drag this on and make it into a witch hunt.

Loved how the MOTD commentator called it.

'If he'd have done that to Chopper Brown, he wouldn't be standing.'

Think you mean Harris, mate.

Grewks, you’ve spouted unbelievable shite in this. Awful.

Said sorry to him directly, over the phone. Better than when some footballers just put a sentance up on twitter. Fined wages but he has asked the club to donate to Hillsborough.

Suarez could still be PFA player of the year as the votes were cast by the 19th of April when the top six were announced .

Apparently Gordon Taylor was spotted in p.c. World buying a shredder.

Yeah, he should be shortlisted, if not win it. Fantastic player who has had a great season.

Another 'incident' but he has said sorry and accepted a fine, all he can do.

Kicking Neil Lennon in the head never did Shearer any harm.

I see Sky News, and probably others, are being drama queens about this. Turned it on at 12 and it's a headline story.

There's some real shit going down in the world and they want to bang on about this in the headlines.

Already fed up of the circus around it.

He's apologised, been fined and will more than likely get banned.

Let's draw the line there.

I still think Suarez is a hero. Brightens up my boring life with his sensational football skills and crazy extracurricular antics. Anyone who says different is just jealous.

'Hero'? Really.

You have low standards. Very low.

Yeah just like the cheating, racism and now actual violence.

If I bite someone in the street and then say sorry is that ok?

No. If you slide tackled someone from behind in the street it's not okay either. He didn't do it in the street. And nobody has said it's okay. Good post though.

If you shoulder charge, or slide in at someone's feet in the street is that ok?

Football is not played in the street so the same rules don't apply.

Biting is against the rules of football and he has already been punished by his club and will be punished by the FA.

Bastard beat me to it.

No it's not ok, but if they accept the apology then you will face no further action....

What does an education have to do with anything?

If anything, your education has been far more successful than mine, as it appears the whole education system has brainwashed you....successfully achieving its aim.

The fact you believe everything that is released by the government just shows you have an inability to form your own opinions.

Remember when Maggy Thatcher re-instated time and time again that the sinking of the Belgrana was not a result of any British force?

Remember when Tony Blair insisted that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction?

I will offer you one final piece of advice, do not believe everything you are told by everyone.
