Football Rumours isn't that bad.

I'm pretty sure Schmeichel clarified to a Danish sports cast he "can" wait for a move to the prem cause he's still young and got a load of time in his career to decide.....that twitter link I bet was utter bull shit

Hull are said to be confident that figure will come down and the two clubs will be able to agree a fee somewhere in the middle.

F**k that! They held us to ransom over mediocre players, I hope we show them the same treatment. Anything less than 4mil is a joke. Hull know we need to sell to buy, however, Kasper is surely a player we are not desperate to get rid off.

It is good that we are holding for £4m I am sure a compromise can be reached nearer our valuation than Hull's so if Hull offer £3m odd I think he will be gone.

I agree with you there, unless we get a deal worth what we want don't even think bout there bids..reject them straight the way. I don't think we are desperate to sell imo, maybe to sell the deadwood

I rate Kasper a lot but he must be on a lot of wedge, so getting him Beckford, wellens and SSL would clear a lot of cash.

We could do with a season long loan keeper like hull did from Fulham.

Didnt Pearson sign fulop previously on loan, that was a great move

If I were a Hull fan, I'd be chuffed to bits if my team signs Schmeichel (who is apparently one of the highest rated outside the Premiership).

However, If I were a Hull fan, I'd think that my chairman will need to 'cough up' around £2/3/4 million (and definitely not nothing less, as that'll be 'clutching at straws').

I can't see kasper going to any of the newly promoted clubs,i don't think any of them will do well next season. What's the point of spending a year fighting relegation. He'd be better off either going to a big club or staying here where he's settled.

I like Kasper. I think he still has a job to do here for next season. However, am I mistaken, but did Hull, under Pearson's tenure go through a number of keepers, due to circumstance, loaning in from Prem teams? It blurs into one for me.

I would suspect, if so, that Walshy, will have looked at the options that are potentially out there, and know who might be suitable should we need it. So there's no need for panic stations.

At this moment in time, we have a good keeper, voted keeper of the season by his contemporaries in the CCC. We should expect attention for his signature, especially with a year left on his contract. This is inevitable. What we shouldn't do is sell cheaply, because we don't have to.

I say let his contract run down, we could do with the stability, and at least his character and attitude would be missed around the club, if he left.

Polite question!

Has Schmeichel been offered a new contract yet?

If not why not?

I imagine he's already one of the highest earners at the club and I'd doubt we'd be able to offer him bigger wages.

I don't know that for certain though.
