foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 We need one win don't we? or burnley one loss. One win and a draw to make certain...
Devonfox1884 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 We need one win don't we? or burnley one loss. One of each i think. Or two wins.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 One of each i think. Or two wins. Don't need two wins, just one win and a draw...
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Shame we cannot clinch the title against QPR even if we beat Reading
Mark_w Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Shame we cannot clinch the title against QPR even if we beat Reading If Burnley fail to beat Blackpool we could?
Matt Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Shame we cannot clinch the title against QPR even if we beat Reading We can can't we? Burnley play the night before us, surely if they draw or lost and we beat both Reading and QPR it's guarenteed.
Brooksy Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 It's all set up for us to seal the title over 'arry
steveherbe Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 It's all set up for us to seal the title over 'arry Yep, I agree with those maths, beat Reading, Burnley lose at Blackpool, we need a point against 'Arry. How sweet would that be?
Babylon Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Yep, I agree with those maths, beat Reading, Burnley lose at Blackpool, we need a point against 'Arry. How sweet would that be? Blackpool beat Burnley? Doubtful.
steveherbe Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Blackpool beat Burnley? Doubtful. Yeah, but we've been saying that all season. I mean, Boro to beat Burnley at Turf Moor, dont be deluded.... oh, hang on, just happened. Results have been going for us, why stop now? Ooops, just realised I'm arguing with Babs - sorry, no you are right, always were, always will be.
Corky Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Middlesbrough are a decent side on their day who are in form, them getting at least a draw today is no massive shock. Blackpool are in free falling and losing weekly, it would be a huge shock if Burnley failed to beat them.
Babylon Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Yeah, but we've been saying that all season. I mean, Boro to beat Burnley at Turf Moor, dont be deluded.... oh, hang on, just happened. Results have been going for us, why stop now? Ooops, just realised I'm arguing with Babs - sorry, no you are right, always were, always will be. Why be such a massive cock? I said it was doubtful that's all, Boro are much better than Blackpool and were exceptionally lucky today.
Happy Fox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Blackpool v Burnley is a Lancashire Derby;form goes out the window in those games, a draw is on the cards.
Dan Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Burnley have to drop points at Blackpool. Whilst it strikes me as a nailed on 0-1'er, it isn't impossible. Blackpool will have to throw absolutely everything at that.
The Doctor Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Yeah, but we've been saying that all season. I mean, Boro to beat Burnley at Turf Moor, dont be deluded.... oh, hang on, just happened. Results have been going for us, why stop now? Ooops, just realised I'm arguing with Babs - sorry, no you are right, always were, always will be. Don't be a cuntweasel - of course it's doubtful. 2 wins since November against a team that have lost 5 all season? And having lost 5 of the last 7 encounters? Everyone would say a Burnley win. Blackpool could win, but it's very unlikely on the face of it.
Pegosteve Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Any combination of 7 points needed, to be honest I can only see Burnley getting to 91 ( 2 wins and 2 draws) their last 3 are really difficult .

Steven Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Blimey he needs to give it a rest, i'm unhappy with his little ginger beard but I don't keep going on about it. Quite.
BHAFC Braders Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Right , two requests- 1) Stuff Reading on Monday 2) Stuff the red and blue lot from Selhurst next season What a crazy, crazy league we were dead and buried and two half decent results have pushed us in the play offs.
