21st Century Fox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Belgium's 8th richest man Roland Duchatelet has completed the takeover of Charlton Athletic. Now if Lamby wasn't enough to make you hate Charlton, Duchatelet is also the owner of Standard Liege, rivals to our 'allies' Anderlecht.
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/ BREAKING: Charlton sign Astrit Ajdarević on a six-month loan deal from Standard Liège >> bit.ly/1atPO5H #cafc Scores the winner on march 1st Funny we were talking about him on another thread before christmas, always liked him.
The Blur Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Move over to Lamby's thread on this in Gen Sport if you wish to dish out abuse Ajdarevic or Lamby but then again everyone already give Lamby stick in all of the threads anyway.

MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 How many more threads do you want to start when it's already been discussed in the appropriate Championship thread, Lee?
Poznan34 Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Charlton the new Watford? I bet they'll get a few from Liege now...
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Patrick Bamford has gone to the sheep...
MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 And Derby stack up even more on English talent. Now Tottenham's Simon Dawkins is joining the County for two-and-a-half years: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25595196
Tinman Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 After a successful loan spell Simon Dawkins is set to join Forest I think I missed a meeting somewhere... Wishful thinking.
TJB-fox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Simon Dawkins, meh. Rather have our little knocky
Fox92 Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Charlton the new Watford? I bet they'll get a few from Liege now... Well they got Ajdarevic. That's a start. If they get more Liege players with his ability, I'm sure they'll not be much more of a threat.
Soar Fox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 If Alexander Merkel shows the sort of form he had a couple of years ago he could be a tremendous signing for Watford.
ScouseFox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Rob Staton â€@robstaton1h Hearing Richie Wellens could be set to join QPR. Would be a big blow for Doncaster. #DRFC hjchjgcfjcfhdcgfhahahahahaahahahhaddhfdshaahahaahaahahahahahhaahdsxvbcb

Super_horns Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 If Alexander Merkel shows the sort of form he had a couple of years ago he could be a tremendous signing for Watford. Sounds like he has been moved round a bit going to AC Milan for example so the potential must be there. Have to see how he fits in - only on loan though whereas the Swedish striker we've got is a permanent transfer.
FrankieADZ Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 wasnt 'arry moaning about the lack of forwards he's got...so he goes for a midfielder....I see the logic there
Soar Fox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 I don't think Harry had got enough midfielders.... Shaun Wright-Philips Jermaine Jenas Joey Barton Gary O'Neil Karl Henry Niko Kranjcar Matt Philips Yossi Bennayoun Junior Hoilett Samba Diakite
RedHux Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Wishful thinking. I'm sure he good and everything, possibly even the next Stefano Eranio but until that article I'd never heard of him.
