SystonFox Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Of course it won't. Makes me laugh all these ****** saying "we could host it tomorrow get it done" Of course we could but it WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

Guest MattP Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Not surprised, anyone who has seen scenes and docu from the Brazilian nightclub fire can see how seriously they take safety over there. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a serious incident at the World Cup.
Guest Bilo Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 The words 'piss up' and 'brewery' spring to mind. If FIFA aren't careful, the World Cup could turn into a bit of a joke. Brazil look destined to make a mess of hosting it, Russia's bid was supposedly the weakest for 2018 and Qatar are trying frantically to host it in the winter after practically admitting the whole 'air conditioned' stadium thing won't work. How long before a break away organisation from FIFA comes about?

Leicesterpool Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 this is what it looks like today! As anyone seen Carry On Abroad? If you have then this reminds me of that!
MooseBreath Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 These scare stories about the host nation not being prepared happen for pretty much every tournament. White people were going to get murdered in South Africa, non-whites were for the chop in Poland. The run up to the Olympics was like an orgy of self-deprecating worry and concern. I guess the stories come to light because some party in the process stands to gain from a sense of panic. The men with the money will open their wallets a bit wider just to make the panic go away. It's all a game. Brazil will be fine just like everyone else.

separator Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 As anyone seen Carry On Abroad? If you have then this reminds me of that! Lets hope Brazil don't end up with the same build quality as the hotel in Elsbels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE1dANA5-As
Corky Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 They managed to host a World Cup without problems in Mike Bassett England Manager.

separator Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 Problems seem to be more outside the stadium rather than inside it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-22742044
Yastafox Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Peter Taylor giving some pearls of wisdom as a pundit on Sky "all good teams need a quality striker to put the ball in the net" - the man that signed Akinbiyi and Trevor Benjamin!
Matt Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Peter Taylor giving some pearls of wisdom as a pundit on Sky "all good teams need a quality striker to put the ball in the net" - the man that signed Akinbiyi and Trevor Benjamin! I can't take a word the twat says seriously. I despise him, I think I hate him more than anyone else involved in football, possibly more than Dennis Wise...Even Arsene Wenger and most people know my thoughts on that twat. I just worry what poison he'll drip in Liam Moore ears during the under 20's World Cup.
ScouseFox Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Surely if Moore is a fan of the club who wouldve been about 10 when Taylor ruined his boyhood heroes he'll know well enough that the man is a bellend.
marko Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 I just worry what poison he'll drip in Liam Moore ears during the under 20's World Cup. Keep up - he didn't make the final squad of 21.
Matt Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Keep up - he didn't make the final squad of 21. He was still training with the twat. Although it's a shame for Moore, good, kinda glad he isn't in the team working with that cunt.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Why does Rooney have the number 10 shirt? Some kind of deal with Nike?
