Aus Fox Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Pissed off I had a tenner on Anderson at 20s to be top wicket taker in the tournament he is currently one wicket behind, surly would have taken two today without the rain
Guest MattP Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Annoying. Still think we'll get a game in. Huge toss to win.
Aus Fox Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 And why is there no reserve day set aside? Surely coming back tomorrow would be better than a shared trophy
purpleronnie Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 And why is there no reserve day set aside? Surely coming back tomorrow would be better than a shared trophy seems strange, forecast for next week is much better...typical.
Corky Posted 23 June 2013 Author Share Posted 23 June 2013 And why is there no reserve day set aside? Surely coming back tomorrow would be better than a shared trophy Because we've got two pointless T20 games against New Zealand next week, on Tuesday and Thursday, when no Test players (apart from KP) will be selected. AjcW Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Well the weathers nice in London... just saying...Bit of a joke really... the only reason its in Birmingham is.. well.. let's not go there but we all know why, no idea why this wasn't scheduled for yesterday, also if it had been in London we could of had a reserve day because India wouldn't of been so bothered about rushing to catch their flight to the Caribbean. Super_horns Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Is a bit annoying when you are sitting here with almost blue sky and the sun trying to peep out! Also if it was just cloudy and over-cast then it would be perfect for Andersen and co.

StanSP Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Talk of playing right through to 9pm. Such a shambles of the tournament organisation that there's a shared trophy. Quite unfair on what has been a surprisingly glorious tournament and I don't think sharing the final ICC Trophy is the right way about it. Agree about the comments of a reserve day or playing in a different venue. How come venues like Lords or Trent Bridge weren't used at all?

theessexfox Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 Double wicket maiden from OUR Ravi, what a player. By the way, our game vs your lot is interestingly poised, love me some James Foster.

Stinkenzo Posted 23 June 2013 Share Posted 23 June 2013 The bail moved before Bell had his foot on the ground but the comms. are speaking as though the bail actually has to be in the air? If so then he did have his foot down at that point.
