One-Day cricket 2013 thread

And why is there no reserve day set aside? Surely coming back tomorrow would be better than a shared trophy

Because we've got two pointless T20 games against New Zealand next week, on Tuesday and Thursday, when no Test players (apart from KP) will be selected.

Well the weathers nice in London... just saying...Bit of a joke really... the only reason its in Birmingham is.. well.. let's not go there but we all know why, no idea why this wasn't scheduled for yesterday, also if it had been in London we could of had a reserve day because India wouldn't of been so bothered about rushing to catch their flight to the Caribbean.

(4.48pm) Rain's stopped, Play resumes.

Wish the English weather, the English 'summer' would make it's fucking mind up.

Talk of playing right through to 9pm.

Such a shambles of the tournament organisation that there's a shared trophy. Quite unfair on what has been a surprisingly glorious tournament and I don't think sharing the final ICC Trophy is the right way about it. Agree about the comments of a reserve day or playing in a different venue.

How come venues like Lords or Trent Bridge weren't used at all?
