ealingfox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Goal music is just another way for the club to control the crowd, and plenty seem ok with that. Is that you El Empty?
LanguedocFox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 WTF is wrong with cheering the team? Have we really lost that ability, or are we so fvckin indifferent to the whole thing that we need someone to "create" an atmosphere for us?
purpleronnie Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Is that you El Empty? Is it not a form of control? Getting fans to 'celebrate' in a certain way?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 I remember that Ready For This Song before the game. Anyone also remember that song being played and not turned off until 5 seconds/10 seconds after kick off! Cringing that was
Fox92 Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Are you referring to this by any chance? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ6CcEOmlYU Yes that's it... Not got sound at the minute but if that's what I think it is then it's one of the cringiest, cheesiest songs ever. If that's ever in our ground I despair. It was in our ground around 05/06/07 time. One of the most annoying and horrible things I ever heard!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Nothing. Nothing at all. Ronan Keating?
Merging Cultures Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Livin Joy - Im a Dreamer. Faithless - Insomina. Underworld - Born Slippy. Daft Punk - Get Lucky. If the opposition scoreGalvanize - Chemical Brothers
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 None. It's a bit showbiz for me and kills the celebrations a bit
Swalker Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 I think some of our fans need to get to the realisation that this ground will never be the same as Filbert Street. The sooner we stop comparing them the better
Kitchandro Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 I think some of our fans need to get to the realisation that this ground will never be the same as Filbert Street. The sooner we stop comparing them the better To some extent you've got a point. Not when it comes to things like goal music though, obviously things are going to be different to Filbert Street but some things needn't have changed.
lavrentis Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Goal music is just another way for the club to control the crowd, and plenty seem ok with that. Lead the riot ronnie!!
lgfualol Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Brian Eno - An Ending (ascent) after every goal please. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKw5mbcE7VY
The Doctor Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH_9lJxeiXg Played in full. Or alternatively, nada, zilch, nowt, feck all...
Fox42 Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Brian Eno - An Ending (ascent) after every goal please. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKw5mbcE7VY If that gets played after scoring the goal that takes us up it'll be magical. If relegated... The complete opposite...
Bayfox Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 fire if anything. what i would like to see is that carp tonights gonna be a good night at the end of the game replaced by, a edited version of the farms, altogether now 2004 remix with the england comentary clips replaced with clips such as knocky at forest and walshy v the sheep etc. think it would work well and could be played whatever the result.
Corky Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 I think some of our fans need to get to the realisation that this ground will never be the same as Filbert Street. The sooner we stop comparing them the better It isn't, but we don't need to try and move as far away as possible in terms of looks, atmosphere and the extras involved in the "matchday experience" (what a horrible phrase). Goal music is pointless and tacky, we can certainly do without it.
