Probably because of the more cautious approach which is nowhere near as exciting; the fact so many players 'retire from international football' (turn their backs on their country) really frustrates me and the lack of identity- Spain have dominated with Ticka-Tacka football and now England have to play that. Why?Play to our strengths, you wouldn't make a basketballer play on his knees because there's a good short player. Also the ticket prices at Wembley mean the attendances are an embarrassment. Just another example of the FA selling out

We need to look to frustrate Ukraine and look to control that field, if that doesn't work then bring on Sturridge (if avaliable) and go with two up front.

Vacamion Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Fair play to Kyle Walker. He was awful tonight but he kept on ploughing on, especially in attack. Not convinced we are very strong at RB, so good on him for his willingness to persevere. If he plays like that against Ukraine, we'll lose heavily. Here's hoping he gets the right coaching before then.
