tommyh Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Can't believe some moron thought Bendtner should be brought in on loan. He's got the same shit attitude as Beckford but is worse at finishing. We don't need egos like his. And why he has got an ego is beyond me, apart from the disgusting wage he picks up for being one of the worst players ever in the premier league Name one of our strikers who are better than him?? Name one of our strikers who are better at finishing than him?? Name one of our strikers who has played and scored goals in major international tournements like him?? O rite, now whos the moron?!

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 SSN are saying Matty Fryatt is available for emergency loan It would hardly be s step forward
VLC86 Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 It would hardly be s step forward so getting a proven goal scorer in the squad and replacing Waghorn wouldnt be a step forward?
GingerrrFox Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 so getting a proven goal scorer in the squad and replacing Waghorn wouldnt be a step forward? I'd rather have Waggy than Fryatt.
Jimmy Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Fryatt on loan, erm... why not! cus he is no different to what we have
LCCFox96 Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 I've heard that it is John Guidetti coming in on loan from city with city paying some of his wages. Seems ambitious given he scored 20+ for Feyenoord last year but would be a good signing. I've heard NP wanted to get the deal done before the wigan game but waggy had to go first and he had to waive a financial bonus/ take a cut first, delaying the deal. If not his attention will turn to keane of utd. Will not be berahino as Clark said he will stay at WBA this year due to a recurring injury problem which their physics need to manage. He will basically get sub apps and nursed through the year. I wouldn't read to much into his hat trick vs Newport + any half decent striker could score vs Finland or Moldova yth with zaha and Redmond either side of them.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 I'd like a player that can score goals. Can you imagine how great that would be? CAN YOU IMAGINE??
Matt Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Fit-again Hull City striker Matty Fryatt, 27, has been urged to go on loan by Tigers boss Steve Bruce. Just for the record, I wouldn't want him back, if we were in league one again, yes I'd definetly have him back, he's not good enough for us in the championship though.
Spiritwalker Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Dare I say, if we are going to line up 442 then I'd rather we brought a wide midfield player in.

Can't believe he is only 27, feels like he was with is forever ago, forget he was so young then!
Jace Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Dare I say, if we are going to line up 442 then I'd rather we broughta wide midfield player in.You're brave making such a logical suggestion on FoxestalkCan't believe he is only 27, feels like he was with is forever ago, forget he was so young then!Feels like he has been 27 for the last 5 years
Jace Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Because we have two that can perform on a good day and two completely unproven in the Championship. (Not four who were all proven at the level they were playing.) Are you seriously saying that Vardy and Schlupp are proven Championship strikers? 4 top draw strikers that would have got into nearly every other side in the prem. (and internationals) And of our 4 we have two that would probably struggle to get in 6 sides in the championship. The other 2 would struggle to get into12 sides starting line up. Well if they are proven due to games played then they have proven themselves to be poor at this level. Now we are top and Vardy has put in another decent performance is he a proven championship striker yet or when can we start saying he is worthy?
hackneyfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Let's judge him after 20 games or so, he's certainly started well and helps us defend from their half, I don't see him getting 15 goals a season but if Nugent starts putting them away it could be a great partnership.

I'd rather a chance fell to Vardy than Nugent tbh I think Vardy is the more natural finisher.
Jace Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Personally I still think Wood has the most potential to be our top scorer this season but can't see Nugent or Vardy moving down the pecking order atm
