Bryn Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Same team, fitness permitting. I don't subscribe to "never change a winning team" but on this occasion I think it is the right call, our victory was so comprehensive on Saturday.
LCFCshotstopper Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 After the convincing win on Saturday, it would be typical of Leicester to lose this one. Expecting them to win 1-3 for some reason with Marshall getting at least one of them. Really hope i'm wrong!! I would keep the same team and mix it up at half time if needed.
Strokes Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Solid at home now, and growing in confidence. 3-0, I would bring in James for DD but I think he will stick.
Jimmy Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 I wouldn't drop Drinkwater after Saturdays performance! He was much better. well he dropped Wood after a hat trick so don't be surprised ...
Finnegan Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Nigel loves sticking with a winning side, surely we'll be unchanged?
hesapeepingtom Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 James in for Drinkwater. Keep the rest of the team the same. Same formation. Same tactics. Lets ****ing smash them. For the first time in ages, Im excited for this season. from the little i seen on the football highlights, drinkwater looked like he had a cracking game, some quality passes and helping back in defense aswell, same side, james on the bench!
GingerrrFox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 They've been switching between a 442 (Best and Rhodes up top) and 451 (Rhodes on his own) this season so I reckon we might see Nigel go back to 352. Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel RDL Konchesky James Drinkwater King Vardy Nugent
Mike King Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Same team as Saturday and go at them from the start. Get Konchesky to put a hard tackle on Rhodes early on (even take a yellow) and tell Knockout to shoot when on the edge of the Box instead of trying to dribble past the whole defence. Vardy and Nugent stay upfront as have pace and Dyer pinging balls into the box. King did well against Wigan and Drinkwater needs to up his game or James will be on sooner than later. If Blackburn do score we know who it will be so no silly free kicks given away within 30 yards of Schmeichel. 2 - 1, Vardy and King.
Aus Fox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Konch to tear Marshall down in the opening 5 minutes, and he'll go quiet for the game, we all know Marshall is a confidence player get in his ear early let him know he wasn't good enough. I also heard Rhodes will be a Wigan player by the end of the week, on loan until Jan then big money transfer when the window opens. For us Same team, quality performance all around if there are no niggles ten carry on the same.

sylofox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Same formation. James for Drinkwater. Marshall is bang average. I don't worry about him. 2-1 City... Nugent and Knocky, Rhodes for them So is Kermit but he always seems to make us pay. And we all know what Marshall is capable of. Could cost us dear if we don't take notice and track his runs. Or just break a leg from the off lol
ADK Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 If we play like we did vs Wigan I think we will win comfortably.
Leicesterpool Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 They've been switching between a 442 (Best and Rhodes up top) and 451 (Rhodes on his own) this season so I reckon we might see Nigel go back to 352. Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel RDL Konchesky James Drinkwater King Vardy Nugent The 3-5-2 doesn't work for leicester! i think we've already establishest that.
Happy Fox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 The 3-5-2 doesn't work for leicester! i think we've already establishest that. It does work but away from home doesn't take a genius to know that play 4-4-2 at home and 3-5-2 away will yield winning results imo
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Same team, I feel it's harsh to leave out James but I think it must be done. Maybe Schlupp on for Dyer, and Dyer to come on and tire their defenders. I don't think it is harsh on James when he's been average at best so far. Good player in underwhelming form.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Same formation. James for Drinkwater. Marshall is bang average. I don't worry about him. 2-1 City... Nugent and Knocky, Rhodes for them Agree with most you've put bud apart from the fact I personally think NP will stick with same team if no injury or illness doubts! If they score I agree Rhodes is danger, IMO head and shoulders best striker in our league! I think it will be same score as Saturday
MooseBreath Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Anything other than 442 would be ridiculous. I'd keep the same line up too.
Ryanw21 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 James in for Drinkwater. Keep the rest of the team the same. Same formation. Same tactics. Lets ****ing smash them. For the first time in ages, Im excited for this season. Drinkwater was in team of the week?

I really rate James though and I'd always play what I think is the BEST team, given the squad available. For me, James would be in that team.
Dan Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Doesn't deserve to be and I'm a fan of his. Drinkwater/King have fully deserved to keep their places.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Marshall to score a 35 yard screamer is fairly inevitable . . . Hopefully Leicester to win 2-1
foxfanazer Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 James in for Drinkwater. Keep the rest of the team the same. Same formation. Same tactics. Lets ****ing smash them. For the first time in ages, Im excited for this season. Why would you drop Drinkwater? I thought he was excellent agaimst wigan
foxfanazer Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Same formation. James for Drinkwater. Marshall is bang average. I don't worry about him. 2-1 City... Nugent and Knocky, Rhodes for them Not impressed by Drinkwater Col?
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Not impressed by Drinkwater Col? Yes mate. He was really good against Wigan. As I said above though, I'd play what I think is the best team. And James would be in it.
