Meltonfossefox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I quite like him, at this level I see him getting about 6 goals in the second half of season....could be when we need it. Could be shite tho but I do like him
Father Ted Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 He had a trial at Millwall and got knocked back... Blackpool played Millwall tonight. He's on trial with us... we play Blackpool on Saturday. Hmmm interesting.
NorthernFox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Always liked him. Good player at this level. Very good in the Blackpool side that went up to the Prem. In Nige I trust.
Ashley Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Does Gallagher have a Sven wage? £15-£17k I believe so yeah.
Bryn Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Think he's a tidy enough player, if he's the right price range why not?
Lambert09 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Id be pleased with this, will cost us about 10% of Gallys wages and got a few goals in him. Worth a punt IMO
Dan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 haha his wiki page 'He is currently on trial at Norfolk and Good.'
ramadaone Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 He thinks a fair bit of Hopper to keep putting him on the bench in front of some of the more experienced members of the squad so would be surprised if this happens
Haydos Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Ambivalent towards this. Trust Pearson's judgement, though - if he impresses in training, fair enough. Nuff said.
1972 Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 There is a feel good factor building at the club at the moment but not too sure about Taylor-Fletcher. Even he doesn't know whether to make suits or arrows!
leicesterisme Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I'd take him, is a decent player at this level and could prove to be a very useful squad player.
hackneyfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Signs after the weekend according to someone on Bentleys.
Callabinho Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Free, low wage, plenty of experience at this level! Would make a decent squad player!
Guest shearfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Free, low wage, plenty of experience at this level! Would make a decent squad player! Exactly, with winter coming up you need a little strength in depth, he isn't a player Pearson is signing to replace anyone in the first 11
StanSP Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 As long as he realises he won't be starting a game right now and will probably be predominantly used as back-up, as well as not being on a high wage, then I don't see the problem with a little bit of extra depth in the squad.
kingfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 We need a winger tbh, but he ain't the answer. Regardless how cheap he may be. Not match fit, fat, got turned down by Millwall and over 30. JUST NO!

If Pearson signs him then I trust him, he doesn't get much wrong and maybe he will get him match fit and in shape... if he is on a low wage and just a squad player I don't see the problem with taking a chance.
Winnershfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Liked him at blackpool. Worth a punt.!. I always felt uncomfortable when he played against us as he was capable of doing something a bit special. Has lots of energy too.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Most random trial ever. Looks like a pub team player.
Callabinho Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Also perfect to come on off the bench and grab the winner against Blackpool!
Guest shearfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Most random trial ever. Looks like a pub team player. If he is successful and signs, don't you think Pearson who watched him knows whether he can offer something or not..?
HoustonFox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Scored in the Playoff final against Cardiff and knows this league well. He has experience which we need to supplement our young talent. Trust Nigel if he thinks good enough. Looks to be recruiting squad support now.
MikeyT Posted 18 September 2013 Author Posted 18 September 2013 He looks like he enjoys the odd pie a chips from time to time.
