Simo86 Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 He's signed. Available for tomorrow? Possibility of a GTF last minute winner
Bert Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Available for tomorrow? Possibility of a GTF last minute winner I'd say he is. Have until 5pm I think.
Happy Fox Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Lets hope he does the business of the bench lets put it this way he is more likely to make an impact then chris wood is ATM!
It's A Knockeart! Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Good, proven player at this level who performed admirably for B'Pool in the PL. Definitely worth a punt until the end of the season, as would Stephen Dobbie.
cjones Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 give it a week or 2 and he will be a good player for you and not just from the bench, he will create chances and will chip in with some goals, very intelligent player and links up well .
Jimbo Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 May I be the first, of course to the tune of the conga du du du, Gary Taylor Fletcher
mobi Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 give it a week or 2 and he will be a good player for you and not just from the bench, he will create chances and will chip in with some goals, very intelligent player and links up well . I'm sure you will Gary
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 love the fat horrible ****! finally some ugly people in the squad actually older than me!
goose2010 Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Decent signing happy with him, people saying that he wasnt good enough for Millwall then why is he good enough for us, nobody knows what went on there maybe he heard we were interested so held out for an offer? who knows all i no is he will add something different and he is has a lot of experience in the championship.
cjones Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 I'm sure you will Gary im just someone whos watched blackpool a lot and know that your getting a good player at this level
Jon the Hat Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 give it a week or 2 and he will be a good player for you and not just from the bench, he will create chances and will chip in with some goals, very intelligent player and links up well . Good luck!
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 I'd ask everyone who's unsure to give him a chance first. I myself am not too sure about this one but I'm happy to trust Pearson and give the guy an opportunity to show what he can do.
Happy Fox Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 If he is a right winger I think he will do well, he scored 5 goals from that position in the prem with Blackpool scoring noticeably against Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool. Confirms the move on his twitter account https://twitter.com/GTF_12
shilton_fox Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Everyone was asking for a creative midfielder...

Now he is one of us, it matters not, hope he manages to lay them on a plate for our strikers.
NewburyFox Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Two of the main problems last season were the lack of experience and lack of depth, and this signing eases both of those concerns. Taylor-Fletcher has done well in this league before, and this will be a cheap, low risk signing on a one or two year deal. To those worried about his fitness, knowing Nigel he would not have signed him if he didn't think his fitness was up to scratch. One of the hallmarks of a Nigel Pearson side is their fitness levels, so I'm sure GTF will be whipped into shape very quickly. Good signing for me.

Good signing for me. had a pre season training with sheff wed so will be fit, but will probably need a few games from the bench to regain match fitness, odds on him coming off the bench vs his old club blackpool to score

cjones Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Look where they are in the table I don't think his fitness will quite up to scratch for automatic promotion contenders well he was only training im sure fitness isnt there problem rather than lack of quality
