Devonfox1884 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Get SEB signed up now, vardy and an out-of-form nuge with GTF (although his cameo's have impressed me) and schlupp as our back-ups doesn't fill me with hope. If he's fit, i reckon SEB and vardy could be a killer partnership, possibly with GTF in the hole, or if we get a new right mid, knocky playing in that role. I would take a fit SEB over all our strikers atm except vardy. Get it done city!
cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Agree with you though it may be worth signing him if he can offer us somethinf however small just to stop Bun-leh getting him It's a true fact as fans we overrate players we are linked too, and I'm probably guilty of that, Always liked SEB, and would love to see him here, it's a chance worth taking if his wages are reasonable!
sylofox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He is training with Wolves as part of his rehabilitation, although out of contract.Read somewhere he is already match fit!how true that is. My worry is that Ipswich might show an interest. They could be a dark horse this year or should that be white horse! He might be fit but not match fit. You can only get match fit by playing matches. At this stage of the season it could take him 4 to 6 matches before fully match fit.
GingerrrFox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 When and for who? I've been told he's signing for us.
Devonfox1884 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He's signing. I like to think i can trust a fellow fox. Anymore details??
sylofox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 I've been told he's signing for us. If true now watch the fun start one or 2 maybe pissed if it does happen.
Simonb Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 this would be great, a new signing in time for burnley, look at what happened when we rushed through woods signing, immediate impact, heres hoping.... but until its confirm, i wont get too excited
Babylon Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Probably the same one that told him all the players hated Pearson, loads of players wanted to leave etc.
Happy Fox Posted 12 December 2013 Author Posted 12 December 2013 Ginger is usually spot on regarding transfer news so good signing for CIty
jammie82uk Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Today From the mail Burnley are poised to hold talks this week with the representative of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake before he meets up with Leicester City also. Ebanks Blake is a free agent after leaving Wolves in the summer. The 27-year-old former Manchester United trainee had talks with Crystal Palace in the summer and has been training with Nottingham Forest and Wolves to maintain his fitness. Ipswich and Leeds United are also showing tentative interest.
Corky Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Probably the same one that told him all the players hated Pearson, loads of players wanted to leave etc. I'm still waiting for flowwolf to come back after he said about 20k supporters wouldn't renew or turn up this season.

Guest MattP Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Then you're in luck! Steve Howard has had his contract cancelled.
RizLCFC Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He's signing. Any idea when this could happen?
Babylon Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 I'm still waiting for flowwolf to come back after he said about 20k supporters wouldn't renew or turn up this season. They did stop... Another 20k bought them instead.A favourite of mine was someone saying the owners had bought loads of season tickets to inflate numbers as there was no way that many would go with Pearson in charge.
TJB-fox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 actually quite like the look of him, good feet for a 'big man' and seemed to thrive off Matt Jarvis's wingplay and crossing. We don't have Jarvis but we do have Dyer and Knocky...particularly like the gosl in which he absolutely destroys Paddy McCarthy! sign him up
