Banks Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Fat waste of space. He's not fit enough to be a Sunday League player...
Danno Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Ok cheers pal. Clearly you're more qualified than those who manage the club. C'mon Top we're missing a trick here.
Rocket-Ron Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 I think he has some lovely touches. But yeah doesn't look fit.
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Everytime I've seen him he's held the ball up well. Brighton and Watford are prime examples. Tonight the strikers got no service from the midfield. Even 5live said the strikers shouldn't have many complaints because of the lack of service. Webbo Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Tbf he contributed Fvck all. I didn't even realise he was playing until near the end of the first half.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 You my friend don't have a clue. Sit back & watch the master at work. GTF & Fryatt double act up top come January I predict. Bow down to
Meltonfossefox Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Clearly knows who to play football but with 20 mins here and there he's never gonna get fit.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 From what I've seen so far his strengths are his touch and his ability to hold the ball up. His weaknesses are his fitness and his mobility. For me, that means that if we're chasing a game or playing someone much stronger than us he shouldn't be started. Chucking him on for the last 10 or 15 minutes to provide some nous and experience in helping us see out a game that we are winning is fine. Starting him or putting him on when we need a goal is not. Larry_LCFC Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 He is an intelligent player but ultimately he is past it and cant get near the ball because he is no unfit. Barely even noticed him tonight. Get rid imo.

Will people stop banging on about 'how well GTF holds the ball up'! Hes a striker for fooks sake... And his goal threat is basically nil. That said, Nugent tonight was pants as well. Get match fit with the 20 mins here and there. There is a huge difference between fit and match fit
leicesterisme Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 If your going on tonights game then Knockaert is a pile of shit and Sunday League. Thankfully most of us are sensible enough to judge a player on more than game and especially when that one game is against one of the best sides in the country. From what I've seen his strengths are his touch. His weakness is absolutely everything else. Some signings simply don't work out. You can't win them all. So long as we don't keep wasting our time waiting for the day he sets the league on fire, I'm fine with that.
KFS Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 I thought he defended well in the hole and with a better final ball, we'd be singing his praises.
Bert Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 He's certainly better as an impact player, but lets not slag him off before he's had a real chance.
LMlcfc Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Holds the ball up well and can loop a pass here and there, cant run for shit, his chances of even shooting let alone scoring are shit, dosent seem to be a threat for defenders. not a starter at all. Col city fan Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 He's certainly better as an impact player, but lets not slag him off before he's had a real chance. I dont want to slag him off, I simply think we can do much better. It makes NO sense to me that we started GTF over Schlupp tonight. If Kompany has any weakness, its a very slight lack of pace. Schlupp could have given him a better challenge in this respect. GTF v Kompany was frankly, laughable. Bizarre decision IMO.

Bayfox Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Not mobile enough. So not sure what he offers. Looked like a shit ian marshall today. But marshall had heskey alongside him. Not nugent.
Col city fan Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 Very poor tonight but no idea why he's being singled out. Hes not.. With the exception of Kasper and Lloyd they were all shite. The least I was expecting was a slightly closer game.

Larry_LCFC Posted 17 December 2013 Share Posted 17 December 2013 I just fail to see what he offers as a STRIKER. We need a prolific goal scorer upfront, not someone who can occasionally hold the ball up but cant score. I don't think Ive ever seen him have a shot. And yes he didn't get much service, but he needs to be able to create his own chances. Could you imagine GTF running from the half way line and scoring like vardy did the other week. Could you bollocks! He'd suffer a coronary by the time he reached the box.
