LCFC FOX Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I know some people will still find some negativity in this but I thought this was a good ideaLeicester fans should show appreciation by clapping on the twelfth minute of the game against reading on Boxing Day.Maybe even everyone could stand up on the twelfth minute to clap as well... Yes I'm probably asking to much. But we should applause in the twelfth minute against Reading in my opinion. Our owners are great and we are lucky. We're lucky we don't have tan.

After what Tan is doing to Cardiff, i'd have thought people would be more vigilant about owners. They are in it for their own interests, not some love of Leicester and it's people. They are here for the Premier League cash and nothing else. By most clubs standards they have done well for Leicester City, but lets not forget that they are the ones that racked up most of the debt too.

I do think that's a good idea though saying thank you Thais. 12th or 9th minute I'm not fussed It's changed to the twelfth minute now, more people on twitter have recognised it as the twelfth minute

And since they have been here I have told people on here to be carefull. They could have sold our great club down the river. Yes the debit is dow to them and some of our deluded fans wanting the prem whatever the cost. But unlike pompey our owners have just given up on there out lay. Yes if we go up they will start to recoupe it. Why should they not. Also they will only regain that money if we are successful. That means we all win.

I personally think it would be a great idea to show our appreciation in some way. I don't know whether the 9th minute will work out in any meaningful way. I doubt 20k people will be that organised without an outside stimulus. I think they deserve some praise from the fans though, although no doubt plenty of people will still find something to be negative about.

The debt they racked up was in attempt to get us out of this league so can hardly have a go at them for that. They've learnt from their mistakes and their patience is paying off now. Plus, they upgrade the stadium, spend millions on the training ground/youth facilities, buy the stadium and then clear a load of debt that existed before they were here. Hardly all self-interest is it? Yes, they're here to make money, but they're investing more financially and personally into the club to improve the long-term future. That makes it a more sell-able asset in the future but I genuinely think they care about this club.

Cardiff fans were happy to bend over and take it up the arse last year. They shunned their traditions in order to appease the man, all to go up. Then they spent, they loved it. But now look at the turbulence he has created there. Clearing the debt shows intent to get promoted and get that prize. That means they are banking on going up. What happens if Pearson loses the next 3 games? He's sacked, a new manager comes in. Will you still be loving it? Things can turn sour just as quickly as they turn sweet.
