KFS Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Yeah, people are applauding Redknapp's cleverness here, but what if Pearson is the one sending us the wrong way?
Unabomber Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Yeah, people are applauding Redknapp's cleverness here, but what if Pearson is the one sending us the wrong way? He can send me the wrong way any day
LCCFox96 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Or while we're all looking for Philips to come in the front door Pearson is bringing someone else in through the back door. Or to leaving stringer looking like a tit with the KP transfer being one of the focus points of the football forum and the post match coverage vs stoke. Sort of NP would do that to show a great "working relationship".
foxoffderby Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I must be the only one on this site who doesn't want Kev. Think we should be looking at someone a little younger.

TheStig Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I must be the only one on this site who doesn't want Kev. Think we should be looking at someone a little younger. I absolutely agree with you. Why would we want a 40 year old striker? Then lets get Worthington back - just slightly older than KP.....
rico Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 KP on Talksport in a bit, wonder if he'll give any clues as to where he's going?
Strokes Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 KP on Talksport in a bit, wonder if he'll give any clues as to where he's going?I reckon it will be a midlands club.
CloudFox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 The way I see it, KP is a good player. If he comes to us and contracts the Leicester striker 'curse' and doesn't score much, then fine, because if he goes to another promotion-chasing club instead, he is bound to score a hatful. It's written in the stars, you know it.

CloudFox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 correct... its called prevention. .. altho we cant buy everyone for that reason haha Ha true. It just seems win-win for me though: if he does well with us, then great, if he doesn't, oh well at least he didn't help any other teams out.
ollielcfc Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 KP on Talksport in a bit, wonder if he'll give any clues as to where he's going? Did you hear what he had to say?
Soup Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Did you hear what he had to say? Asked about Leicester,he said no.But said he wanted a midlands club.
ollielcfc Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Asked about Leicester,he said no.But said he wanted a midlands club. So it's a definite no to us then?
cityfanlee23 Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 So it's a definite no to us then? Asked about Leicester,he said no.But said he wanted a midlands club. I'm not saying he said no. But when asked he jumped through the window, hijacked a car and sped off through red lights, nearly killing a family of 17
suffolk fox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Great news if he is not coming here good. In the 90's not now though.
Soup Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 He does seem a top pro,so until he actually signs for anyone he'll keep he cards close to his chest.
Simonb Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Ha true. It just seems win-win for me though: if he does well with us, then great, if he doesn't, oh well at least he didn't help any other teams out. Exactly, so if he does cack and some florist fan laughs about it, we can turn around and say ' Yea, he's keeping the bench warm and has scored non for us, but he's also scored non for you!' and if he's successful, we can just laugh in their faces anyway
Simonb Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Asked about Leicester,he said no.But said he wanted a midlands club. here comes the I never wanted him anyway thread
lcfc_amie Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1389074400# You can listen to the interview here - click on the 9.30-10.00 section, & it's about 5 minutes 30 into that. He doesn't actually say no to joining us - he just denies being in Leicester. He could have met Pearson outside of Leicester.
